Aubameyang continues to defy Christmas rotation threat

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£11.5m) continues to defy the Christmas rotation as he starts his tenth Premier League match in a row against Brighton.

The Arsenal forward even played the full 90 minutes as the Gunners lost to Tottenham in the recent EFL Cup quarter-final.

Unai Emery has decided to go with the big guns up top again as Alexandre Lacazette (£9.5m) also earns a start.

Meanwhile, Lucas Torreira (£5.2m) returns to central midfield after earning a rest against Burnley, while Laurent Koscielny (£5.4m) gets back into the side alongside Sokratis Papastathopoulos (£5.1m).

Mathew Ryan (£4.5m) plays in goal with his Asian Cup departure with Australia looming large, while Shane Duffy (£4.6m) returns from a three-game ban to replace the suspended Lewis Dunk (£4.5m).

Jurgen Locadia (£5.3m) gets another start on the wing at Anthony Knockaert‘s (£5.4m) expense, with Glenn Murray (£6.5m) coming back in, as expected.

Brighton XI: Ryan, Montoya, Duffy, Balogun, Bernardo, March, Stephens, Propper, Locadia, Gross, Murray.

Arsenal XI: Leno, Kolasinac, Sokratis, Koscielny, Lichsteiner, Guendouzi, Xhaka, Torreira, Ozil, Lacazette, Aubameyang.

Looking at the way Brighton attack at home, I'd not be rushing to get Digne next gw.

Won't be getting braces every week.

He's probably done for the season in that terms.

The odd assist will do fine.

Also, I want rid of Balb. Seems the best option.

In form Leicester and Soton also coming up for Digne. Now is not the time to get him in.

Can't tell if trolling or not.... their fixtures are great - not facing a top 6 side is a huge plus regardless of the fact that no game is easy for a CS.

He won't get a CS every game but they'll hopefully get a couple and he's going to get attacking returns even though he won't get a brace again.

Who else would you rather have?
Man Utd and Man City can't keep a CS and Liverpool have Arsenal + Man City

If no other issues, would you do Martial to Pogba for free ?

Pog seems more nailed on, plus his price will rise etc

Leno has 3 saves, it's this sort of inconsistency which is killing fpl.

Trouble is, if they remove any subjectivity from points allocation, we’re pretty much left with goals, clean sheets and cards as well as fewer assists. There are a multitude of lucky/unlucky points won and lost to make the game one that is influenced by luck. I accept that it’s part and parcel of FPL and what makes it more fun and worthy of discussion.
