Further to my article on the 15th August, please see a further update on the FFS Head to Head Leagues below.
Unfortunately we haven’t been able to release the leagues and fixtures by GW 2 as early we had hoped, but as I’m sure you can appreciate there have been a couple of teething problems. With just under 6000 entries there is a lot of data to process and condense to show correctly on the site!
There is one important change since the last update and that is the naming of the leagues: we have swapped the wording of Divisions and Leagues around, so the top league is called League 1 rather than Division 1 and the next tier down is now called League 2 Division 1 and Division 2 rather than Division 2 League 1 and 2.
So the structure is now as follows;
League 1 – 1 Division
League 2 – 2 Divisions
League 3 – 4 Divisions
League 4 – 8 Divisions
League 5 – 16 Divisions
League 6 – 32 Divisions
League 7 – 64 Divisions
League 8 – 173 Divisions
Some of the issues currently being worked on are as follows:
1. Geoff is busy working to get the landing page sorted so that everyone can view the data.
2. Soon each team will have a link to their gameweek history.
3. At present all 38 fixtures for all 300 leagues are shown in one document but behind the scenes we are working on getting these filtered, so they show per league.
4. At some point in the season we will be looking to obtain each teams FFS username. This information isn’t needed to show the leagues or fixtures but is something that will be needed to a) help identify the team for the FFS community and b) makes it a lot easier for me to administer the promotion and relegation for next season.
As advised all the leagues and fixtures have been created and are updated to reflect the GW1 scores. If any of you wish to know your league and GW1 result I’m happy to advise but you’ll need to direct message me on Twitter – @sparkymir.
For now, we really appreciate your positive feedback and patience. We would have ideally got everything out on site before the GW2 deadline, however we are committed to having everything showing correctly before we release it.
Hopefully we’ll be able to reveal more this afternoon.
* If I’m unable to make significant visual improvements I’ll still release the URLs so people can check in. The bulk of the work is done and we know it’ll work, now we need to make it easy for managers to use and understand! – Geoff

Hopefully we'll have some further updates on this later today 🙂
