Morning guys!
Current team looks like this:
Mannone
Koscielny, Jones, Azpilicueta
Mata, Ramsey, Eriksen, Nasri
Suarez, Rooney, Aguero
subs: Marshall, Puncheon, Ward, MOlsson
1 FT, 0.1 ITB
Would you go for this?
Mata -> Yaya
Rooney -> SturridgeOpen ControlsMight be a week late on getting in Yaya, but he's still a good idea. Transfers look good, you might need a Ramsey replacement if he's rested for cup final. Perhaps Sterling for another -4
Open Controls
Any news on:
Rooney
Ramsey
Aguero
Mata
Azpi
for the weekend?Open ControlsMidweek games will tell the story for some.
Arsenal safe so Ramsey may get another rest and Azpi could be back.Open Controls
3-0 up with 78 minutes to go and you blow it? Really? I've never quite seen the like of it.
I think Liverpool need to get Terry and Cole in on free transfers!Open ControlsTbf I think it was more the fault of the midfield rather than the defence. Gerrard, Lucas and Allen were nowhere to be seen.
Open ControlsLiverpool will never get anywhere relying on Gerrard as the DM.
Open ControlsAgreed, a good playmaker with his passing but I'm not sure he has the legs or defensive qualities to play that position effectively.
A combination of Sakho + Gerrard is dodgy defensively.Open ControlsAlso gives the ball away. Always has.
Open Controls
Never did understand the hype about him playing there
Open ControlsDon't get me wrong, he's brilliant going forward from there (just look at his pass to Sturridge), but when the shoe's on the other foot he's a complete liability. We need a Matic/Fernandinho player alongside him. Lucas pre-injury was perfect, but he hasn't hit his straps since returning.
Open Controls
Guys what would you do with this team?
Mannone
Azpi - Cahill - Kosc
Yaya - Nasri - Eriksen - Mata
Aguero - RVP - Wickham
(Given - Ramsey - Ward - Williamson)
5.1 itb and 1ft
Kun is probably going to go for Suarez but is it worth a hit to take out any of:
Mata?
Azpi?
RVP?
Kosc?
Anything you can think might be worth looking at for -4?
Or should I leave it as it is and just get Suarez..Open ControlsTeam looks good, cant see any important transfer
Maybe Wickham to Remy/Giroud for last week puntOpen ControlsI'm both leading in one and chasing in the other 😛 I don't mind taking risks if there are good reasons for taking them 🙂
Considering Remy in for RVP and Suarez in for Aguero..Open Controls
Aguero to Suarez looks good, like you said. Would add Mata-> Silva/Gerrard, these are the kind of guys who could easily score 15 pts on the final day in a must win game.
Open ControlsThanks guys!
Open Controls
What would you do with this team?
Mannone
Azpi Koscielny Evra
Mata Sterling Silva Nasri
Suarez Wickham Aguero**
xx Ramsey** Dann Dummett
2.7 in bank, 1FTOpen ControlsLeading my ML by 10-15 points. Isn't it wise to play safe and cut off rivals ?
Open ControlsI think Wickham qualifies as a wild punt 😛
I'd do Aguero -> Sturridge if he's ruled out with any certainty, and add Azpi -> Kolarov if you're feeling particularly punty.
No yaya is a worry, though, if your ML rivals have him. Consider Mata -> Yaya if you go ahead with Kun transfer.Open Controls
Current team : as template as it gets
Mannone
Zaba Cahill Baines
Yaya Gerrard Eriksen Ramsey*
Suarez Aguero* Wickham
Marshall Mata Chester Chambers
For GW38 :
A. The sensible option : No hit, just do Ramsey -> Sterling. Anyway Mata comes off bench if Kun out.
B. The 'risky' option : For -4, Ramsey+Aguero -> Silva+Sturridge
A or B ?Open ControlsThanks, epic
Open Controls
Judging by the bustling hive of activity on here, is the season well and truly over? 🙁
Or is it just early? 😀Open ControlsKnew I should have showered..
Open Controls
any chance at all that Rooney will play tonight? Really really need him to!
Open ControlsTime to accept your 0, 1 or 2 points from the bench.
Or accept that your rival will get 12 points from his bench.Open Controls

😀Open ControlsAh. I am way off last Season's rank ... 🙁
Open Controls
I dunno, that 72 points was pretty impressive..
Open ControlsThat was my very first Season, six years ago. I stopped after one week, as I was playing the Guardian game at that time.
Was a much better game, too.Open Controls
So with the league all but over, who to bring in for 38? Dzeko, Sterling, Sturridge, Lukaku ?
Open ControlsPodolski.
And Dzeko ...
http://members.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/my-stats-tables/view/939/Open ControlsSorting by 'Attempts' must be frustrating for yourself.
I fancy Norwich to give Arsenal a game. Scope of pelli to play Negredo or Jovetic? Too much is up in the air.Open ControlsYes.
Open Controls
Possibly. Something not right in your camp, though.

Morning all !
All we need to do now is pick out this weeks differential - there's always 1 in gw 38 ....Open ControlsJeez winning my leagues by the skin of my teeth!
Looking forward to gw38 last min transfer for me need someone fit to play and play wellOpen Controls6994 with 5 double game week players left, best performance previously was 300k !!!
Open ControlsCongrats! 😀
Hopefully I can join you nearer the top 5k by the end of the week! 😉Open Controls
UFPL : Rooney hasn't kicked a ball , last night I did Rooney > Studge , but now it won't let me do the reverse , surely if a player hasn't played it should let you bring him back in ?
Open ControlsDoesn't let you play if there team has played, regardless of whether they have any minutes or not.
Open ControlsYea I get that , but of you think in this case it could be about the player and not the team ?
Open ControlsYou took him out, can't put him back in regardless. If you had him benched then it would make more sense but you didn't.
Open ControlsI think this rule could be improved on tbh.
I would have benched him but I barely had 11 to start with this week so many injuries.
My Liverpool contingent saved me last night , hopefully I'll fin top 1k.Open ControlsYou have 25 players in UFPL. Loans are there also to counter this. Coding would need to be changed quite a bit to allow changes after the Pool game for players who didn't play their 1st DGW game. You didn't lose anything by having Rooney there. He just wasn't ready to play & be of any use in the 1st. You could have left him & hoped he played the 2nd & did well instead of getting another bite of the cherry doing the double swap.
Open Controls
You can take people out and put them back in if their team hasn't played though.
Open Controlsi.e. you could have started with Suarez in your XI, then replaced him with Giroud, the do the reverse after Sunday.
Open ControlsI see. The system works out the optimal playing strategy for you but you need to play the players on the right day.
Open ControlsDGWs will always be an issue with a format like that. That's why it's not such an issue with the CL game. The fixtures are structured and uniform, whereas the PL fixtures are very erratic.
Open Controls
would you do :
1. Rooney and Noone for Wickham and Hazard
2. Rooney and Noone for Sturridge and Puncheon
3. Something else because i have: Aguero, Ramsey, P.Jones, Azpilicueta, Bruce, M.Olsson
thanks in advance for adviceOpen ControlsTbh I think your q's ( like most ATM ) are pointless till we finish gw and pressers on Friday.
As you say yourself it's prob 3 - something else.Open Controls
How are you guys approaching the final gameweek? In my opinion, options are at a real premium, with teams and players on the beach, and especially as we might have Ramsey, Aguero and Rooney out. I've got my eye on these two guys:
Marko Arnautovic (wba) - 0.5% ownership. 31 points in the last 4 games. WBA have conceded 7 in last 3 games at home, will almost certainly be safe, and are, it has to be said, poor.
Romelu Lukaku (hul) - 18% ownership. Is due a haul, you might say. It's his last game for Everton, with Hull likely to be playing the reserves with an eye on the FA Cup final. Lukaku scored a hat-trick on the final day last season.
Anyone have any last-gasp punts for the final day?Open ControlsLukaku is so frustrating. Like you say in that fixture he could easily get a hattie or blank. Too much of a risk IMO.
Open ControlsNot sure, I'm not looking at this week until Saturday I don't think.
I have 6 players flagged and ZERO cash 🙁Open Controls
Schurrle, Willian, Arnautovic, Remy, Bony, Wickham, and Deulofeu are some interesting ones that spring to mind
Open ControlsChelski? Not today, thank you.
The wine has soured ...Open Controls
Going for.nostalgia with nothing to lose, Nolan and Lukaku did me proud final gw last year so in they come!

Open ControlsBollocks. Kind of regret not bringing in Kun now.. even if it would have meant an 8 point hit.
Open ControlsCan't see kun playing tomorrow

My UFPL injury / dead list :
K Davies / McGregor / Collins / Azpi ? / Chester / No one / Ramsey / Anichebe / Bentekke / Rooney / Aguero and I own Crouch ? And Coolback.
🙁Open ControlsNot into UFPL yet but looks like it's pretty hard and problematic for some managers...
Open ControlsIt's what I wrote when it started. Nohing you can do about that and that's why it's a poor game. It needs a rethink so the player is in charge and not the luck, or not, of the injury list.
Open ControlsYou have 25 players and it just means that you have to be more prudent with your players. Having lots of the likes of Sturridge, Aguero, Walcott etc is asking for trouble. Buying the risky cheap players is also a no no and something that I have learnt from the beta. The way I see it is both luck and skill are enhanced in UFPL.
Open ControlsAdd Ramsey and Benteke to that list, please.
Open Controls
All this LFC doom and gloom seems a little premature to me.
Man City still have to win their last 2 games.
The titles not signed, sealed and delivered...Open ControlsWell I don't hold out much hope for my DGWers..
Mannone - fingers crossed clean sheet
Jones - not confident
Zaba - not confident
Toure - my 1 hope
Rosenior - not confident
Mata - probably won't play
Rooney - won't play
Aguero(c) - won't play

I think you'll be fine.Open ControlsHaha I like the nickname... Sums my feelings up this week haha.
Can you see kun playing? Can't imagine it.
I'm now thinking how big a hit I'll take for the last day. I remain 11 points ahead in my ML but it's tightOpen Controls
Why are people saying Aguero won't play. Last he said was that he went off as a precaution and is fine. Sure he will start the match, and only be benched on second half if they lead by 2 or more. Has enough time to score a hatty.
also, rooney unfit, Mata most probably will start behind the striker. jones likely to start at home against hull, what's not to be confident about?
Also, why not confident about Zaba? Sure starter and City very unlikely to concede at home against hammers who have scored less than 1 goal/match away from home this season.Open ControlsThey aren't playing West Ham.
Open ControlsYeah, sorry, a little bit ahead of my time. Against Villa, at home. But again: the third best home defence playing against team with Grant Holt upfront. How come is someone not confident about clean sheet?
Open ControlsCity will be nervous as hell. Villa are rapid on the counter attack. I think they'll concede.
Open ControlsThey are not Liverpool, they are a team that has already won this title, essentially the same players, they will not crap their pants.
Open Controls
I'm on a negative one at the moment haha.
My fingers are crossed big time. I do think city will concede a goal though and zaba always has a good chance of a cardOpen ControlsCity have Villa too.... I know they're awful of late but did well the weekend and will be desperate to finish on a high given the fans feelings ATM.... I'm a midlander and a lot of my mates are villa
Open ControlsThey did well.... at home against Hull. Nuff said.
Open ControlsOnly adds to our hopes about big hauls for ManU attack. My RVP punt may still turn excellent!
Open ControlsI think negativity is the story of the week isn't it
Open ControlsIt seems so. I have nothing against negativity when it is warranted, but all this crap about not being confident about City defence, about Mata and Aguero not starting etc. it's just not warranted. For all we know, Aguero is fit to start the last two matches and will start because City needs to clinch the title.
Open Controls
He'll...Just seen the Palace goals. Just how much space did the give Palace at the back..Shocking.
Open ControlsI would have been shocked if Liverpool defended well.
Open Controlsthey defend ok as a team, but if you leave it up to the back 4 they are fecked
Open ControlsWorst I can remember seeing in the Premiership. Amazeballs.
Open ControlsI actually think we made Fulham look like defensive stalwarts.
Open ControlsSee below, Billy - I would be interested in your take on that.
Open Controls
Skrtel and johnson really crapped that victory.
Open ControlsI think they are too nervous to win it. Have too little experience of winning and never expected to lead the league this late.
I don't really like City, but just for Gerrard and his awful slip, I hope Liverpool won't win it.
Seriously, Gerrard should have just concentrated on game to avoid a slip like that. Over confident playing last man back and lose ball without even being under pressure.... that was just the moment of the season if Pool eventually doesn't win the league. That was the moment that cost them the title. It's so symbolic that I love it.Open ControlsDon't keep letting Gerrard off the hook by calling it a slip, slips can happen to anyone and are unfortunate. It was a mis-control of a simple pass, the slip was just his failure to recover from it. I guess you could say it was a mental slip though so never mind 🙂
Open ControlsA central midfielder should never be the last line of defence.
Open ControlsSakho should never have been making that pass.Never pass across the back four on a high line is schoolboy stuff....and that's where Gerrard was.
Open ControlsWhat on earth? high line or not, when opponent attackers are not pressing, you are entitled to pass the ball around in defence to look for a pass forward. It is even obvious, because when opponent is waiting on their side of the field, organized like Chelsea were, a hasty pass forward easily ends up in a counter attack. Gerrard offered the obvious pass to Sakho, the only obvious one because pass options forward were far from obvious. Moreover, it was a very simple pass that Gerrard most probably called, as their playmaker, wanting to punt last long pass forward before the break.
It's ridiculous to blame Sakho for Gerrard's failure to control a simple pass. If it was other way round, Gerrard giving that pass to Sakho and the latter fumbling it, nobody in world would even think about putting smallest part of blame on Gerrard, instead they would be demanding Sakho to never play for Liverpool again.Open ControlsI mean, look at the incident. It looks like Gerrard comes asking for the ball. And why wouldn't he? He is their play maker after all, supposed to do just that. Could he just have focused on receiving the pass enough to not let it slip, it would have been all safe and he could have punted it up for one last attack before the break.
Open Controls
I agree, I didn't mean by "slip" his falling after he let that pass slip, I mean letting the ball slip from his feet. Maybe a mental slip as you say. That's why I think it's so massive thing: he was receiving a simple pass as last man back, no pressure (Ba was some 5-6 meters away and basically stood still until Gerrard let that pass go), and he was too confident, didn't even look at the ball until he probably felt that the ball didn't stick to his foot but passed him towards Ba....
...and then at that moment he went to fall and crawled after the ball instead of turning around and running after itl!!! That actually is important part of his mistake, if you think of it. After all, Ba was 40 yards from goal, to run with ball from that far to score a goal, without having paced at all, if someone is chasing you without ball, is not easy. Maybe Gerrard could have still saved it at that point, had he just turned on his feet and ran after the ball. Even after falling, just standing up and running, even hacking Ba's feet from behind could have done it. But no, he couldn't do that! I think he was just so shocked of his failure, knowing he will fail the whole team in title fight, and fell because of that and crawled after his dream of premiership.
Amazing moment. Truly memorably immense failure and that it cost them the title... just wow. Probably the one season in his career when he could have won the premiership, and he screwed it up like that.Open ControlsOkay, in all fairness, he did get up quite fast. It is just... somehow.. it bothered me that he fell, because there was no reason to fall really. It looked to me like he fell for mental rather than physical reasons, and had he not done that, had he stayed up, or at least not get on all fours, he could have still caught Ba.
Open Controls
Ramsey and Mata to
A) Silva and Gerrard
B) Yaya and Sterling
Both transfers would be for a hit. Would you go for it?Open ControlsI think Mark (or Paul) may have picked this up in a previous article but it looks like....
Caulker and Medel won't be at Cardiff next year (release clause)
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27285223
Caulker will be on the radar if he goes to PL club no doubt. I wonder if he'll go back to the Swans.Open ControlsI have written to BFS asking him - no, pleading with him to buy the lad!!!
Open Controls"However, potential buyers would have to meet the Bluebirds' valuation."
So is it a release clause or do clubs still need to persuade Cardiff to sell by offering lots of money?
Caulker has made a decent case for himself offensively anyway!Open Controls
Agger has been involved in all but one of Liverpool's clean sheets.
Agger has only played for 1331 minutes. Can any kind soul, fan or not, tell me why? 😕Open ControlsHe's easily our best defender. No idea why he isn't playing...
Open ControlsI mean, bloody Skrtel was on his way out the door, pre-Season? Wtf???
Open ControlsSkrtel is scoring goals, Sakho was Rodgers' buy and Brendan seems to have faith in him growing up to be a good player, Agger is probably looking out the door, even though he is the best defender out of the 3.
Open ControlsBrendan has written 300 pages or something about his long-term plans for Liverpool where the plan was to compete for 4th place this season but not neccesarily get it. I think Sakho will fit nicely into his plans and be better than Agger in 1-2 seasons
Open Controls
It' s a shocker Doosra. No idea why they keep him on the bench.
Open ControlsI think this piece of work alone should guarantee Tony Pulis the prize.
Open Controls
I have been waiting for him to return to the team so I could get a Liverpool defender. Not sure why he isn't playing because like you said, Pool more likely to keep a CS with him in the team. They also have a very high win rate with him in the team.
Open ControlsI just hope people will realise we need a new defence after this season now.. While we were winning 10 games in a row and letting in 3 goals per game people were saying Johnson can be world class, Flanagan is good enough for Brazil blabla..
Flanagan is good enough for 2nd choice RB/LB next season, he brings almost nothing going forward.
Johnson have had 3-4 good games this year and maaaany rubbish ones, we need someone to compete with him.
Also need one new CB that can take commandOpen ControlsAnd Moses comes on instead of Agger when they really need to shore up the defence and stop Palace scoring again. Baffling from Rodgers
Open ControlsThis too!!! I forgot - abysmal piece of managing. Imagine if Moyes did that.
