The Scoreboard presents the Fantasy Premier League information you need from the day’s matches all on one screen, including the current top five BPS (Bonus Point System) standings from each match (potential Bonus Point earners are in bold). Actual Bonus Points will be shown when added – all points are provisional until then.
- Why was 2014/15 so high scoring?
This season has been a particularly high scoring one fantasy wise.
What does this indicateOpen ControlsA) That it was easy to predict the high scoring players
B) Fantasy managers have improved
C) More goals scored , and or more clean sheets
D) Higher percentage of big captain scores than usual
Not sure whichOpen Controlseasy captains and lots of template/bandwagon action
Open ControlsCity and Liverpool scored over 100 goals.
Open ControlsThere was lots of template action last season too though
Remember the power 5
Bale Hazard Michu Fellani WalcottOpen ControlsAll you needed last season was those 5 and RVP Suarez. Casuals did better this season with fan favourite Yaya turning up and kneejerking Ramsey in early.
Open Controls
plus 2 teams scoring 100 goals of course
Open Controlsweird season really. found lots of it comfortable like captains, yet lot of it incredibly hard scrambling around without yaya and ramsey for most of the time and gerrard, lallana and eriksen for all of the time. lesson from yaya, gerrard and eriksen is probably that i should have backed set-pieces more. always saw them as a bonus to top-up already good scorers, maybe next season it's time to get more specialists in
Open ControlsFrustrating is the word that sums it up for me
Was too stubborn to bring in Toure , Missed Ramseys points.
Had nothing but one pointers from Eriksen when i had him
Then there were lots of people getting away with hits week after week .Open Controlshear the word stubborn a lot. is stubborn not accepting someone is a good option and still not buying them? i just genuinely underestimated yaya and lallana, was never stubborness
Open ControlsI think refusing to get Ramsey and Yaya despite the fact they were scoring points almost every week is pure stubbornness because constantly you'd only be proven wrong. At least with Gerrard and Lallana there were quiet spells where not having them can be justified.
Open ControlsIts always easier after the event. Yaya at the beginning of the season looked very expensive considering his mediocre fantasy record.
I always expected his run to come to an end , it didnt , but there was no way of knowing that at the time.
Still believe he willl struggle to replicate it next season and am already expecting to be a non owner againOpen Controlsyaya's season:
gw1-14 blind luck
gw14-38 less blind luck, but still a bit ridiculousOpen ControlsNo. No luck. just a great football brain. It is hard to admit it, but as strange as it seems, YaYa Touré is the best player in the world. Strangest player too.
Open Controls
You mean 2013/2014 ?
Because 2014/15 has yet to start.Open ControlsNo we are all know the next season will be high score
Open Controls
Well chaps season is over and ended the gameweek with a flurry of green arrows and a cool rank of 9,760
Not the usual 5k but living aborad and seeing about 10 games all season, that's pretty damn good 8)
Same time next yearrrrrrrrrr
Only the hardcore lads stick around during the off season 😉Open Controlsal you're genuinely one of the first few names i think of as top fpl players over the years
Open Controls
Has there been a full-jonty section in this season's Scoutcasts?
If not, you should bring em back - they were crackersOpen Controlsnah there haven't. have noticed a surgery section on the fpl website which is kind of similar but lost interest after about a week. think ideal world all features would be things which apply to everyone's teams or talking about fantasy in general. focusing on individual teams is dangerous business imo as it's hard to keep people engaged and interested
Open Controlsok, fair enough.
but for me, the full-jonties were the thing that kept me listening last season, lighting up my thursday evenings with a bit of fpl banter
i think we can all relate to the full-jonty victims in many ways though. even if not, it's nice to know about the outsiders of the fpl community and the sheer variety of the gameOpen Controlswas good when there were themes to each. never think we got an explanation as to why they stopped the feature. and yeah the more variety in them the better.
tbh mark's tales of woe were like a constant full jonty this seasonOpen Controls
Are hits like gamblers tales?
Only seem to hear about them when they win. Lately people have been all for taking four pointers, and if you read the forum its full of people boasting how their -12s paid off etc.
Is it really the case though?
Was looking at doing some research into hits . Does anyone know if their a list of the top transfered in players each week , for the course of the season. Would be interesting to see their average points on the weeks they were heavily transfered inOpen Controlssense this too.
reckon most post about their hits if they go really well or so badly that laughing about them on the site is like therapy to get over them. in the middle are probably the majority of unmentioned hits which dont quite pay off.Open ControlsI think Wakey was looking to do a study on the success rate of 8pt hits. The idea has its pitfalls as there is no easy way to quantify success and failure when it comes to hits. He was going to sample 30+ individuals and make an assessment as to the success ratio for the first GW only of the 8pt hit.
Open ControlsIts very difficult to do any research as the result of hits cannot be assessed over 1 week. U may gain alot of pts last week..like i take a -8 to do baines to alonso and rooney to rvp. End up i earn over 10plus pts. But this week due to last transfer i lost pts due to alonso absence and rvp blank.
Open ControlsIt certainly felt like when comparing this season on last season, this season the obvious form and fixture choice people most likely to take a hit for seemed to come off quite frequently resulting in greater success for hits overall. Would be interested to se any research that proved or disproved this
Open ControlsWhen they go wrong they can be very expensive.
For example many took hits to take out Mata and Ramsay this week to bring in the likr]es of Eriksen
Ramsay to eriksen for -4 was really a loss of 13 points, which is fairly significant
Rule i usually go by is to only take a hit to remove an injured player , when the injuries are piling up. OR for a runaway leader in the cap poll that i dont have. Am always very uncomfortable removing playing players for a hit as can backfire badlyOpen ControlsThere is a big difference between taking a hit on the last GW of the season and taking one during the season though. In the last GW you only have 1 game to make up the hit, whereas if you take a hit during the season those 4pts can be made up over numerous GW's.
Open ControlsYep , im still of the opinion that transfers are very precious , and that if you are very careful who you bring in then hits are normally unnecessary.
They are more useful for bad managers who waste transfers bringing in short term fixesOpen ControlsMany are too keen to chase last weeks points , someone scores a couple and they have to bring them in , often removing players what they havent given a proper chance to perform.
They have a player who blanks for a couple of weeks and they want rid straight away . Then they on the forum moaning when the player scores after they have sold themOpen Controls
yep glad i took no hits this week and kept Ramsey and Mata 🙂
I agree with you Triggerlips, despite a few times they have really come off this season for me (Rooney 36, Aguero around week 8), overall I am not in favour of taking out a healthy nailed on player for a hit.
This season I have tended to have enough injuries and players dropped to force my hand anywayOpen Controls
Won my ML! Thanks for the tips this year guys. Suarez was so close to 300 pts.
Open ControlsAlmost took a -4 to take either Ramsey or Mata out for Hazard. Good thing I played it smart this time.
Open ControlsWhats up with Ultimate chaps? Im just getting endless loading icon. o_O
Open Controls- Open Controls
Slightly disappointing in the last 2 GWs for the season.
Simply picking a decent Man City defender over Jones would have got me into the top 1K.
Time to move on and relax now. 🙂Open ControlsCheers Katie. Nice break with no fantasy WC will be great.
Open Controls
Still had a cracking second half of the season, can't be too disappointing.
Open ControlsDidn't finish the job off. Suppose to peak GW38 like most seasons.
Open Controls
Still great season and exception second half of the year TM.
You need to rest up now but don't let yourself go to much so you maintain sharpness for the World CupOpen ControlsVery disappointing end to the season for me too.. have to move on and enjoy World Cup anyway 🙂
Open Controls
Looks done and dusted on the status page.

This seasons winners' FFS link.

Seems he was on the last page but was a bit drunk. 🙂Open ControlsSo that's it then.
All in all I'm happy with my season, made it into the top10k and finished the season with my highest rank of the year at 8.5K.
Key lessons I will carry into next year are
- Go for the obvious target and not the clever differential, especially early in the season
- Whilst you need to get the form players in as a priority, as everyone will be doing this as well, the real difference is getting the right make weight transfer (like Alonso last week) and this is where the real thought needs to go.
Anyone learnt anything they wish to share?Open Controls- if it costs 0.1m to wait for news on a player or team, that knowledge is worth 0.1m about 90% of the time (or even more -- ask anyone who brought in Rooney for the DGW)
- bandwagons are just bandwagons. Buy a membership here (it is good value) and READ THE STATS before you make transfers.
- form >>>>>>>> fixtures
- watch the games!! Thinking of transferring someone in? Watch their next match.
- Buying to beat a price rise is sometimes important (esp. with someone like Ramsey, Sturridge, Yaya, who rose +0.3 some weeks)... but selling to avoid a loss is trouble, if that player stands to play 90minOpen Controls"if it costs 0.1m to wait for news on a player or team"... before making the transfer
Open ControlsPrices are an interesting one. I agree with you generally but early in the season I think you can take a few risks.
In my view $0.1m sell value in the first 10 weeks is worth about 1 pt as I believe you can use the money to make this back by having better players throughout the rest of the season (not just at the end I know plenty had money in the bank by week 38)
So to me an early transfer for a player going to rise 0.3m against another who will fall 0.1m, giving an improved sell value of $0.25m is worth at least 2 pts. The worst that can happen is that players gets injured, meaning you need to spend 4 pts getting someone else. I reckon that there is less than 25% chance of a player getting injured so average cost of the early hit is less than 1 pt
The key is that the early transfer is the right transfer both player out and in, if in doubt waitOpen ControlsYou might even be underestimating marginal gains from extra money. Probably closer to 2pts per 0.1m making early hits for price rises more acceptable. This does carry risks with the obvious one - to me at least - is rushing to jump on bandwagons that derail while selling decent players who have just started slowly.
When it comes to late v early transfers, I prefer to wait. True that early buyers can steal a march but I don't see that the gamble on fitness is a good one. This is particularly relevant if you don't have a full injury free squad.Open Controls
5 out of 6 green arrows at the end... went from mid 300k to 75k..
Horrible season where I was languishing at 2 million plus for ages... ended up semi respectable. ..
Bring on the wcOpen ControlsOh and I won a grand on bets yesterday. .. I for what it is worth have not issue saying when my bets lose and often do... luckily I win much more than I lose
Open Controls. take a look at these bets that came in... happy days
http://imgur.com/XQSqhzg
The draw / chelsea bet was utd draw / chelsea win made at HT and the Liverpool / chelsea bet was also made at HT...when they were both losing
Didn't think the 6 accum would come in either...
Norwich relegated was placed a few weeks back
Thats the holiday paid for 😀Open Controls
Well played Drinky, well played.
Open ControlsCheers

Has anyone got the round scores for GW38?
FPL have turned-off the Transfers page so I can't easily grab the data for each of the players.
I run a draft league and this would be very useful 🙂Open ControlsAfter looking at about 100 different teams and getting most of the scores, I am missing...
Wilshere
Arteta
Bellamy
Schwazer
Cole Ashley
Matic
Osman
Ferdinand
Smalling
Kagawa
Tremmel
Davies
Sigurdsson
Foster
O'Brien
Tomkins
Downing
Carroll
Any help greatly appreciated.Open ControlsGo to the statistics tab on the right hand side and select round score.
Open Controls
Miserable second half of season thanks to a new job. Tried to get back on the ball for the last few GWs to no avail.
Lessons learnt
- Watch more footy, don't just base thinking on stats. Ramsey was a true revolution in playing style, if only I watched Arsenal earlier and realized this
- If a fundamentally sound player from a good team hits form, get on the bandwagon early. Especially early season for team value
- Keep hits to a minimum unless it involves obvious upgrades. Like Rooney + Snodgrass > Sturridge and Schurrle in GW38 😎
- Don't be afraid to cull good players when they have no form...regardless of fixtures. Case in point - Michu when he was fit, Lallana after JRod got hurt
- Don't be fooled by prices. Ramsey at 6.0 doesn't make him less of a player than Ozil at 10.0, Nasri isn't 1 mil less of a player than Nasri, Kosc vs Mert etc.
- 'Coverage' is a fookin lie.Open ControlsTriggerlips didn't finish in the top 1k.
Is the world gonna come to an end?Open ControlsStill pretty decent result though...
Open Controls😉
Open Controls
lol , i know . People cant understand why im peeved off finishing in about 1700 . But i was never going to be happy with anything but another top 1000 spot
Open ControlsAt least i beat Camzy , thats the main thing :--)
Open ControlsCongrats, amazing finish as always.
Open ControlsGuess you not too happy with your rank either Aqua
Been a tougher than usual season , doing the right thing has often not resulted in the expected outcomeOpen ControlsYeah shitty finish for me.
Tried to gamble to overturn a 30 point deficit with Haz(c). Completely backfired as I took out Mata for him..
Crap overall rank at 24k, but bring on next season..Open ControlsSame here. Mata->Haz(c) for -4...
Mata becoming a bit of a Albatross around my neck. Very much like Walcott used to be. Never own them at the right time.Open Controls
Highlight of my season.
Open ControlsSabbatical next season? I think so.
Open ControlsWho Trigger? Yeah, he needs to take a break.
But then again we need a replacement for That Cretin on our Senegoal inner circle...Open Controls*Croatian
Open ControlsNot from FPL. Just from the site.
Too much group think. Backfires 50% of the time. Wanna see how I'd do without any opinions except my own.Open ControlsOh, you referring to yourself...might be a good idea. Who knows, i have a feeling I won't miss FPL much.

Thanks to everyone who has taken part, it's been hard to keep track of it at times this season but it's a good way to take my mind off my struggling FPL team. I'm unsure if I'll continue running the competition next season as it's very time consuming and stressful at times, so if anyone is interested in taking over or running a similar comp - go for it. Cheers guys.Open ControlsI've missed the DZ this year 🙁
Open ControlsIt's been my first full season using FFS. The DZ has been great fun 🙂
Open Controls
Really appreciate all the time you took for starting up this competition! Really enjoyed it and ya it's a good break away from a bad FPL season! Thanks man! You deserve a lot of credit for this! DZ is more active with this! You deserve a hulk for all this effort man! How was your season?
Open ControlsAnd congrats to the top 2! You guys were head and shoulders above everyone! Brillant friendly DZ competition 🙂
Open ControlsCheers mate! Congrats on finishing third equal 🙂 I finished the season with a rank of 21k, slightly disappointed not to make the top 20k but it's a bit better than my first season which was last year. I've really enjoyed being part of the DZ this season, how was your season?
Open ControlsThanks man! I suddenly realized about this competition in the last few weeks. It has been a great adddition to the DZ. In a positive note you did better than last yr! Which is an improvement. This was my second season and I managed to halve my OP from last year to 67k. Kinda low here but I'm very satisfied and happy! My goal was to crack the top 100k and I only achieved that in GW 37,overtaking my bro in the process! Talk about it being a close season! 🙂
Open ControlsAwesome! Well done mate 🙂
Open ControlsNope, New Zealand.
Open ControlsAh that explains it! I'm from Singapore. The time difference only allows me to be online when the DZ starts.. Btw your country is lovely! Went there on a holiday when i was younger, loved it! 🙂
Open ControlsCheers, it is a nice place to live. I think I prefer the DZ anyway as it's easier to have good discussions without the pages moving super fast! Btw get a grav 🙂
Open Controls
Thanks your hard work for doing this Draft game week in week out.
What about the Graveyard Shift? Are you going to create this H2H again?Open ControlsNo worries Roger.
Yep, definitely.Open Controls
Good morning guys...hope you all had a cracking finish..
Open ControlsNice to put a face to Evs and Applebonkers eventually. Thanks to scoutcast.
Open ControlsThis is it then.
CHRISTINA OUT.Open ControlsU not playing wc version
Open Controls
Here's my cringey post that I posted earlier thanking everyone on here, I even mention you guys, the DZ!
It was that good it even got stickied!
http://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/comment/7339985Open ControlsI posted it here again so I could thank you guys too, just didn't want to re post the actually thing.
Open ControlsAwww thats nice. Good on ya Sarjeant, I bet you're looking forward to getting stuck into next season already.
Open Controls
Greetings everyone.
Just logged on FPL and saw that my OR dropped, but I finally won my most important ML (pipped him last night after trailing all season).
Happy days 😀Open ControlsThank you all of you, especially DZers.
Open ControlsGood on ya, hope to see you around these parts next season.
Open ControlsSure mate! tbh It's a season to forget for me (only break the top 150k once), but to win 1 out of 3 main MLs, and get 2nd place in the other 2 (1 ML was won a fellow DZer - Cruizer van Nistelrooy), is pretty satisfying.
The season is not over for me yet as a fan (FAC Final on the 17th 😉 ) Hope to see you guys again next season.Open Controls
Good Day Ladies & Gentleman!
From 1,632 in FPL 2012/13 to 171,100 in FPL 2013/14.. was hoping for top 100K finish at least after a terrible first few weeks. Good learning this season! Hope to be around to learn from the masters..
Thank you site owners, moderators, DZers, users & casuals for all the help this season.Open ControlsI "understand" that Hodgson hasn't picked for the World Cup squad, so I'd also like to announce my retirement 😉
Open ControlsIs this a 'fill in the blank'?
Open Controls
All Thnks to FFS that in my 2nd year in fpl i bettered my ludicrous 500k to a classy overall 7K rank this season!A big improvement indeed and i think next year i should be capable of a 1k finish 🙂
Thanx for all you support
Cheers!May Kolorov be Top scorer next season 😉Open ControlsWow, well done on the big rank.
Kolarov to be like Baines next season, NBNC 😉Open Controls
Have those cheaters removed that Dzeko "assists" yet? That costs me a lot of money actually...
Open ControlsWhich one are you?
1. Can't wait until Fantasy World Cup
2. Won't be playing FWC.
3. Taking a big break until FPL opens
4. Retiring from FPL and FFS soonOpen Controls2 for me at the very least.
Open Controls5) Organising a work FWC. Tenner in, me thinks. Hopefully will get some good advice for it round these parts 🙂
Open Controls
Undecided on whether I'll play Fantasy World Cup. Is it any good?
Open ControlsNever played the one on here. It's a bit like UFPL. Need to know the players or just follow the RMTs.

Solid rank btw. Shame about transfer no. 44 😉Open Controls1/2
It's a while until the World Cup. I'm bound to get cravings between now and then 🙂Open Controls
hi everyone, just wanna thank all of you for your contributions which make this site so great...been my first serious fpl season and did ok (186k)...without your help id be languishing around the million mark lol...hopefully next season is just as good on ffs! 🙂
