The Scout Agree Premier League Deal

Many congratulations, chaps. I found this site 2 seasons ago and it had a supersteroid-like effect on my performance. Although now I do feel a bit like I did when Doolittle went in at number 7 in the charts and you couldn't move in town for Pixies t-shirts 🙂

Having said that, a simple and yet perfect idea for a site, plus all the hours the founders/scouts have put in for free, deserves reward. And if you managed to make a living from doing something that you love, then all power to you.

Dedication, luck and knowledge will still win the day as it always has done. If anything it will be more exciting to play as a lot of mini-leagues will not be sewn up by the end of March as is often the case now.

I do fear, however, what this might do to productivity levels in Britain!

Now, when's the fecking game open?!

No mention of whether the column/information will be freely available to all FPL users, or if there may be some charge for premium membership, a la the FFS site?

Targets for this season.

-Win my mini-league's.
-Get a higher ranking than this season (19k)
-Get into the top 10k.
-Stay in FFS H2H 7 once again.
-Get a manager of the month prize 😉

I have only ever spent one week in the top 5k 🙁 Haha, so I plan to have at least two there this season.

Truly well done to FFS on this remarkable rise to glory. Can you imagine the genuine feeling of achievement by Mark and Co, in rising from a small site to one that may potentially be engulfed by the masses. His creation, his efforts, his achievement, well very done Mark.

Will this stop me using the FFS? Not in the slightest, it means that I will have to up my game as others will have access to the brilliant articles on this site. Will i link my team, yep. My rivals will still not know my transfers come 11.30 0n Saturday. No. It is important for any reader on this site to trawl through the snipets of pure genius within the cannon fodder and extract that said genius. I certainly do not make all my transfers because of this site.

There is much apprehension within some readers but I think we should embrace this change. We may get clarity into elements we always complain about like bonuses, the auto captain choice et al.

I completely agree with the members section having a chat room.

Then the clique can go and b1tch about how they are extremely hard done to and stay out of the non members forum.

Plus this will alow the casual player to be able to speak on here and ask relatively nieve questions without the clique jumping on their back and making them nenevr want to post again.

At last an influx of new poeple...it will be like a breath of fresh air!

Christ, there are some miserable, selfish people on this site. Those of you whining about your own fantasy prospects should be ashamed of yourselves. First of all, it's fantasy bloody football. It's totally unimportant in the scheme of things. And secondly, isn't it nice to see that the hard work that the FFS guys have put in paying off?

I'd like to offer my congratulations to Mark and the rest of the guys at FFS. I stumbled upon this site last season and while it had a massively detrimental effect on my FPL success (I was obviously better playing my own hunches, especially with captaincy), I've always been impressed with the quality of the articles and quantity of content.

I've played Fantasy NBA, NFL and MLB for years and often wondered how long it would take for Premiership games to realise the massive potential of employing fantasy gurus. It's heartening to see the guys at FFS take a first step. Well done.

i created a new link for my nickname, to one of my favorite underground hiphop tracks out of china.

the title of the song is brilliant: in english, it's "grass mud horse". in chinese, it's 草泥吗 (cao ni ma), which is only slightly phonetically different from **你妈 (also spelt cao ni ma) but which means doing something very unpleasant to someone else's mother. the suggestion being that this is what the chinese government is doing to its people.

on top of the top-notch political critique, the track is hot, too! enjoy!

Congrats to the team & specially Mark.. I remember the times you were so close to give up after having some difficult times in ur personal life! But u never let us down and this deal with FPL is the reward for all the effort u have devoted here..
At least now, no one is gonna complain with bps and assists as there will be a clear explanation here! I think the best improvement that FPL could have done is the bps awarded after each game..
For me competition might only rise our own level.. It's like winning a 100mts race when ur starting with 50mts advance on ur rivals! At least now, we know we wont be able to rely totally on FFS but will also have to do some own research..
Anyway congrats again Mark and keep the hard work.. 😉

Any ideas as to which team will as Blackpool did last season, ie a storming start only to fade away, Im thinking Sunderland, cant see the 3 that came up doing much ?...

I'll reserve judgement until I read just how much detail these bi-weekly articles will go into. I'm not too worried though, as those who put in the time to properly research stats, trends, etc will still be a step ahead of the rest of the pack.

I will, however, lend a voice to the growing call for a members only forum. If there is an influx of casual (and possibly annoying) FPL players to the site, I think it would lead to more existing users paying for membership just so they could ensure they were in good company 😉

When the early bird offer was made, this statement was issued within the post. Could this be the launch date of FPL or am I reading too much into this said statement.

I REALLY hope FPL is live by this time next week or my FF team is in trouble 🙁
