Mendy injury latest as Chelsea defence impresses again

The main question for many Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers this week will arguably involve Chelsea’s attractive fixture swing and how many of their players will be needed for it.

Romelu Lukaku (£11.7m) will likely be the most popular captaincy choice as the European champions firstly face Southampton, with their defence also looking like a safe investment.

Elsewhere, Cristiano Ronaldo (£12.7m) disappointed many with his blank against Aston Villa.
