    Hmm.

Looks like I'll be keeping Sturridge. Seeing as I want to play my entire midfield, there's not point getting DJ just to bench him or one of the others.

Indeed. Swapped him for Andy Carrol on the penultimate day of my WC so I could get Rafael in.

Not he best business I've done, I'll admit.

Hmm, couple of people have texted me in the last half hour saying they've heard Spurs have approached Liverpool about Johnson, can't find anything to back it up though - anyone esle heard that?

Would be good to have Kelly cemented at RB.

Thankyou soop, yeah i somehow wish i'd done the same re: baines but with a cpl of goals and his assists return, i thought possibly someone like fellaini would step up and fill the void left by cahill and get on the end of his crosses. He hasnt and his points have dried up but i'm not getting rid now. cahill will be back in a cpl of weeks. Other than that i'm pretty pleased with what i've got, i'm just wondering what formation to play and whether carroll will be back this weekend?

Two things. In reply to Funkyav (Did I spell that right?) to begin with.

I am a fan of Bridge at left back, no matter how much we pay him. He is a good LB and was thrown in at the ultra deep end Vs Arsenal/Walcott. We have Ilunga who is terrible. Gabbidon who is primarily a CB and then Upson who Vs any winger with a little bit of pace will get out done. Also we need him at CB.

And in reply to 1966 was a good year etc etc etc.

I went with Jordan, Playing Hard to get, they are mates and I think she appreciated that I chose her mate. All about upcoming parties anyways. A lot could happen. And the prom date means nothing. Also, Cheryl has decided to go with some ugly kid. So all is good.

fair play greg. Just think its a ridiculous amount to pay an average left back, but you are right that it improves what you have. I have a soft spot for West Ham, always have, but i am not a fan of the 2 in charge of your club, and i think you have a far weaker squad than when you went down last time!

Grant, as much as i am not a fan, has had to deal with all the cr*p that they talk about in media. Why dont Gold and Sullivan learn to keep quiet?

Remember when they first took over and were making a massive thing about how West Ham needed to live within their means and the previous owners had been profligate, blah blah.

Oh and by the way, we're trying to sign Beckham or Henry for 100k a week.

People grumble about foreign owners, but we've got some homegrown stinkers of our own.

I could be wrong but regarding this whole 'giving konchesky a chance' thing. I think he may have meant 'il still consider him if hes looking good in training' meaning he wont entirely ostricise him but that he isnt first or even second choice at the moment. Basically saying 'hes not getting a game because ive got better options but i dont hate the lad'

I'm enjoying LucasLeiva21's take on Kenny. Like Rafa, there's room for a romantic twist and I like the idea that he idolises him but will ultimately be let down by the gruff Scot.

Soto is still my favourite character.

Babel is in big trouble. He's writing a rap about it. Kenny the first person to encourage his rapping. 'If it makes him more like Barnes...'

Mighty Blackpool next. Kenny being really nice to me. Said there's a lot of work to do. Said it's a confidence issue, he needs more of it in me.

Who would you guys bench out of evatt and coleman?

I'm leaning towards playing coleman, Evatt could get a clean sheet against sunderland and probabily a point from the united match and coleman should get a a clean sheet plus attacking returns.

I don't like the thought of benching someone with a double but it makes sense doesn't it?

Im in a slightly similar situation if i play evatt it basically means benching bale but ive only got five DGWers in my team without evatt so i really want him in there just to bulk up the numbers of games played by my players. Its a tough one. I think toon will win but i think they'll concede.

Yeah I know what you mean it's always good to play as many doublers as you can, I think if I was you though I would play Bale, I reckon the most Evatt will get is around 7 points where as all Bale needs is a goal which he could very easily get.

I hope the Scout team don't waste their time doing a Scout Report on Pienaar to Spurs, as it seems that most people on here are convinced he won't get much game time, even if he does get gametime, he will find it hard to be amongst the points with that glory VDV (not complaining as he in my team, but did I would be seriously peeved as a teammate if he shot at every opportunity, good or bad) Bale and Modric

Agree with Nick, don't like Liverpool defence, and Kelly is still not tied down enough for me if I were using my WC.

Rest of team is very nice, I still have Kolarov but am losing patience waiting for that "due a goal or an assist" week! Would have a Spurs defender in there soon enough, too many away fixtures at the minute though

Stockdale good for at least 2 weeks.

      two solid keeper selections
great choices in defence, wouldnt mind hearing a bit more about kolarov,
you dont lose anything price wise by selling him would you not like someone else?
fabregas and nasri, is pretty sweet (im WCing too ,and think will go just fabs for now, and bring in RVP for torres soon) but thats just as good
u have the essential nani vdv and tevez
all in all very good, seems harsh benching dj, but hard to picksome else to rest, vdv maybe?

I just can't see DJ scoring in both games again. Still undecided between him and vdv for the bench. Kolarov has shown promise, i think with Dzeko he'll get a few assists and hes the cheapest option for a City defender and now i've lost Hart, i need one.

David Bentley superb at the weekend? Not sure about that, I'd say he did just OK. Are there any Opta stats to show how many of his 89 touches were little check-backs after he failed to beat the full back? Also, he had 6 of his 7 attempted crosses blocked - due to checking back. He needs to sign up at his local track for sprint sessions
