FFS Cup

Paddy Power Cup V – The Last 16

A few weeks back, over 2200 registered and now we are down to the last 16 of the Paddy Power Cup V. They’ve come through seven stages and are two victories away from playing for a prize. The draw for the next round has been and looks a lot like this…

1RaasclartVs.Mr Bungle
2mendersVs.CSKA AWFUL
3NattVs.Declan
4Der-Hammer95Vs.Sc8tt26
5soulman27Vs.runty
6ChickenDevilVs.Timmy Loving
7VereWinnerVs.sleepingmaster
8Bruce BaerVs.Funkyav

Top-seed, and 181st in the world, Der-Hammer95 has a tough assignment against 1,241st overall Sc8tt26. Of course at this stage of the competition there’s no easy games. In fact, there are only two teams with less than 1,000 points.

As luck would have it, those two Fantasy managers yet to hit four-digits have been matched together. 250k in the world VereWinner takes on 127k in the world sleepingmaster.

Last week’s top-scorer, Mr Bungle, once again finds himself as the away team in the first fixture of the round. There’s obviously no disadvantage to coming out of the hat second, and Mr Bungle actually has the effective lead going into his game with Raasclart. The 83 points between them means the ‘visitors’ will go through with a draw.

All ties will be played over the upcoming Gameweek 19, good luck to all!

Please note – with such a short turnaround from Gameweek 19 to Gameweek 20, we’ve made the decision to postpone the Quarter-Finals until Gameweek 21. This will ensure that the draw can be made and published well in advance of any deadline – it will also remove the double gameweek fixtures as a factor and bring the January wildcard into play for the last eight.

Good luck! I've got someone ranked 1.5m which is about 700k places behind the dead team who's score I tripled last week. This guy is actually making transfers though so not sure which opponent is better for me.

Just realised, anybody hoping for Spurs defender for dgw, West Brom only failed to score in 6 games this season,
    Home Away
    0-1 v Stoke 3-0 v Swansea
    0-0 v Fulham 3-0 v Arsenal
    0-2 v Liverpool
    0-0 v Man City
    Also included in that is
    1-3 v Spurs Game week 13

    Looking dodgy for cc

Hang onto Smalling or Evans? Keeping Evans allows me to use Smalling for bae without too much fuss.

Also I've seen comments that Sorensen may not be playing for too much longer? Where is this coming from?

Last thing, I see delay is now fit, is shotton likely to keep his place?

Going to start J.Evans just incase Fergie surprises us all & i'm not wasting 4 points on him anyway, but who to put as my first sub?..

    Wilkinson or McAuley?

Wilkinson - better chance of CS if he plays but may may come on for a few minutes for the 1 point..

McAuley - Will start, not expecting more than 2 points at best anyway but then again Everton aren't exactly prolific..

My 2nd round #FPL opponent is ranked 2,149,418th in the world & only got 28 points last GW beating his opponent by 2 points. He has 5 players out injured & if Lindegaard doesn't play he's in trouble. Oh it's a dead team from Singapore.

Is Caulker a guaranteed starter at Swansea (after Spurs game) or is he filling in?

Has been asked on every single page today! Could easily be rotated! Ps I would love to bring him in if he was guaranteed to start!

Planning for January wildcard. Best keeper combo looks to be Foster & Hennessy. Nurse!
