Attention turns to Group B on day two of Euro 2012 with a couple of the tournament favourites in action this evening. The Dutch face Denmark in the five o’clock kick-off, with Germany following on to take on Portugal. There’s a whole host of Fantasy talent on show, then, with big expectations and captain’s armbands aplenty.
Our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open to soak up your thoughts as this evening’s lip-smacking ties progress.
The lineups for the early game are in:
Holland: Stekelenburg, Van der Wiel, Heitinga, Vlaar, Willems, Van Bommel, N De Jong, Robben, Sneijder, Afellay, Van Persie
Denmark: Andersen, Kjær, Agger, S Poulsen, Jacobsen, Kvist, Eriksen, Zimling, Krohn-Dehli, Rommedahl, Bendtner
So Ron Vlaar partners Johnny Heitinga in the Dutch back four with Joris Mathijsen missing out having seemingly failed to shake off a hamstring injury. Jetro Willems, at just 18-years-old, becomes the youngest player to feature in the Euro’s – he claims the left-back spot. Ibrahim Afellay gets the nod and is set to line up on the left of an attacking midfield three, with Robin Van Persie taking up the striker’s role ahead of Jan Klass Huntelaar as expected. Vlaar for Mathijsen is the only change to the lineup we predicted earlier in the week, then, while Denmark line up just as we expected – Stephan Andersen gets the nod in goal.

That 6-0 win over NI not looking so clever after all.
