I have a feeling that Mr. Set-Piece-Wayne Rooney's returns will start regressing. I'm referring to goalscoring particularly here.
Through out the WBA game, United lacked creativity as everyone noticed and it was Rooney yet again dropping back to dish the ball around and start moves from midfield. Giroud/Lukaku/Sturridge/Soldado and now Suarez all have higher average positions and more goal involvement in teams that are NOT struggling to score goals.
Now that Van Persie is nice and fit, I think he'll go back to his playmaking duties with preferential focus and as a consequence points will dry up relatively.
Planning to ship him at the first sign of it despite the great fixtures.

I will be surprised if Rooney is not a high point scorer this season. I had him for the last few weeks and he done well for me but have switched to Suarez as I think he will outscore Rooney and has better fixtures coming up.
