Not often acclaimed for his sage-like wisdom, Granville is enjoying his season in the sun and is firing advice, sympathy and jibes my way, in equal measure. With little to lose, I’ve even resorted to taking his guidance on board. After spending points on transfers on the Mancunian’s recommendation, I’m looking on my squad with optimistic eyes, although Granville is far from convinced that I made the “greatest hits”.

After raining on my revival parade, Granville joins me to talk Suarez, Oscar vs Hazard and Jim Bowen before we roll out the podcast regulars – “All Aboard”, the weekend preview and the usual dalliance with the ScoutCast team.

    Did you pay with anything which you have protection for? In the UK if we pay by CC and get scammed we can claim the money back from the bank.

    I would try phoning your bank (even in Aus) and explain the situation and maybe you will get lucky....

      The scammer would have forced him to use Western Union or some other insecure transfer. If it was WU, you trace back their passport they used to register their account to their home address.

      Very nice. You got Aguero already yeah? Mbiwa should be first choice, but with Coloccini, Williamson and Taylor too, i'd be worried about some rotation.

    Tricky times ahead at the back one feels.

    Southampton have a horror show for fixtures, I've Lost confidence in the jacks at the back, nasty is a 'doubt' and the rat has been maimed in a trap.

    LFC cover I think is key.

    If I had the cash, ditto Chelsea.

    I agree with the scoutcast boys, I'm looking at. Muthersucker too....
