Not often acclaimed for his sage-like wisdom, Granville is enjoying his season in the sun and is firing advice, sympathy and jibes my way, in equal measure. With little to lose, I’ve even resorted to taking his guidance on board. After spending points on transfers on the Mancunian’s recommendation, I’m looking on my squad with optimistic eyes, although Granville is far from convinced that I made the “greatest hits”.

After raining on my revival parade, Granville joins me to talk Suarez, Oscar vs Hazard and Jim Bowen before we roll out the podcast regulars – “All Aboard”, the weekend preview and the usual dalliance with the ScoutCast team.

      i was in the same situation and i woulda went cabaye. but his on 4 yellows. and after the next game, sess fixtures are much better than cabayes. thats why i went sess. stats say sess too

        sorry late reply. i would say they both are.. im pretty sure sess has a low ownership also. he is just popular on the site for some reason lol. i think its because everyone here looks at the stats that FFS supply us with and his stats are great.

I have been questioning whether to put Moussa Sissoko in my team as a punt for this week. I hark back to memories of last season. That being said, that was last season. Reading into his stats for this and it seems that he may explode at some point. However, I have been severely advised against putting him in for this week? Any reasons why?

      I'd prefer either. Walcott could do something with 25 mins from bench and you will want him anyway in a few gws. Snodgrass good option as well and underpriced.

  I think Y-M's pretty set to keep the start. He'll get shifted between CB and RB though, if that makes any difference to how you view the Newcastle Defense.
  Might even get him some chances for some assists closer to the wing. 🙂

  Yeah he was on bench last game only because they kept sheet against che so would be unfair to drop either. This week however, debuchy is suspended so he will be back. Makes it easier for pardew actually because he can assess his options better.

    For me its got to be Sakho, with Sturridge out and his amazing goal scoring form over the international break (scored more than any other liverpool player) he will be dangerous if he can make his way off of the bench

  not a fan of the ozil captaincy when you have got 4 better options there i think.
  
  ozil is a great player but not consistent for fpl.. his not a goal scorer.. most likely will assist. and southampton have a resilient defense as we all know.

        oh i will probably get him in the future. im not doubting at all that he is a great player. im only speaking about this week alone. i wont be getting him in next gw either though unless he looks really special. i think since he hasnt played in so long you cant really expect too much from him for the next 2 - 3 games atleast.

Crazy to enter this game week without Rooney while my opponent has him?

  u playing h2h? rooney is not a must imo though i take a hit to get him..for me is for long term..dun see him doing much this gw tbh though ppl say otherwise. but taking a hit u need remy to score 1 more than rooney to compensate..so looking at just 1 gw for the h2h i will not do it. u will have a better chance saving the hit.
