The Big Numbers – Gameweek 15

An upturn in form by Palace’s former Villa man and a certain enigmatic Bulgarian over at Craven Cottage come under the spotlight this evening. Tottenham’s improvement in front of goal and United’s faltering home form are also picked apart in our latest review of the statistics from the weekend and beyond:

Coolio, best replacement for Gerrard out of Silva, Nasri, or Navas? (I've already got Yaya)

I see Lukaku is top of the captains poll. I have him but as a Fulham fan i'm not convinced. The last two matches Fulhams defense, no, the whole team has dramatically improved. And by dramatic i mean poles apart from the previous time under Martin Jol.

Fulham now play with discipline, like a team ought to. Dang it even Phillipe Senderos is looking somewhat imperious at the back.

So i won't be captaining Lukaku, not because he isn't a superb player and goalscorer, but simply because i think if Fulham play like they have done the last two games under new leadership, they will not be there for the taking. This game could be exceptionally tight and could just surprise some of those quick to captain the Belgian.

You beat a poor Villa side!! Everton took 4pts from away games at Old Trafford and The Emirates. Better to keep things in perspective and just hope for a miracle at Goodison.

Hey everyone, which is the best way to spend my FT?

    a. Chico -> Jagielka and play Myhill away to Cardiff

    b. Boruc -> Howard so I have to play Mertesacker away to City?

I prefer a, expect that Myhill has a much bigger chance of getting points away to cardiff than mert has getting a cleanie against City away

    cheers all

As a Swede i've seen him quite a lot. Very dangerous during the world cup qualifiers, second best player after Ibra.

Bayern Munich have 12 on goal difference and Man City have 8. Why if City had scored one more goal would they have gone top? Wouldn't it then me 11 vs 9? Am I being really thick here?

Would have gone through on the head-to-head results - City would have won on away goals

Tie breaker is on head to head results. A 4-2 win for City would have meant a 5-5 aggregate and an away-goals rule win for them.

Need to get rid of Gerrard, current midfield is:

    Oviedo, Lampard, Ramsey, Gerrard, Hazard

    Who would you go for?

    Rewording of an earlier question.

Would you take a four point hit this week to bring in Hazard for Gerrard, or would you play Bannan away at Chelsea and do the transfer next week?
