Small red from 730 to 790
Is Ade-> Aguero
And
Lallana-> AJ worth it for -4?Open ControlsI'd say so (assuming you have to do both to afford it).
Open ControlsBasically it's down to who I'd rather this week Lallana or Mata... Should I take a hit this week or next? I'll be getting rid of the other next week for YAYA anyway
Open Controls
740->780 for me. Lallana is home to Norwich this week man, I'd hold off on that hit until the week after.

FPL Open Update
Top seed #2 in the world
Last qualifier http://fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/789789/event-history/29/
Likely 1st match.
Will sort out draw & if any teams need removing in the morning.
Draw should be ready by 8am
http://www.tinyurl.com/fplopen when I open it back up.Open ControlsRemoving RvP with the double in 2 weeks feels very wrong. What are owners doing?
Open ControlsI feel the same about Mata, yet am very tempted to get rid
Open Controlsgetting rid....with Aguero, Lukaku, Sturridge as alternatives i ain't worried
Open ControlsNo just do it. He isn't performing and doesn't want to be there. Aguero is a monster and will have to play now that Chelski are so far in front.
Open Controls
who does the Scout Picks?

ATT:Suarez, Studge, Ade
6.0 mil in bank
2 FT
THIS WEEK
Terry>McCartney
Ade>Aguero
Snoddy>Yaya
NEXT WEEK
Lallana>Nolan,
Punch>Sterling
How does this plan look?Open ControlsTiny red down to 2200. I'll take that from this bizarro gw. Set up very nicely for 30/31. How'd ya go peeps?
Open Controls52. And that was with all 11 players. Healthy green though so I'm happy
Open Controlsand a healthy green in ufpl up to 1200. And a wc to play with
Open ControlsUp to a dizzy 16th in UFPL, for the moment I'm enjoying but that will change soon enough.
Open ControlsJeebus! Very nice GNU. Make this wc count and you'll be in the mix ftw
Open Controls
35 and not too bad a drop so I'll take that for a bad week
Open ControlsYep it's one of those weeks ay
Open Controls
Everton conceeded 4 goals today. Kompany over Baines for GW 31?
Open ControlsNegative. You only need one pen and if they get a CS in one of the games too he'll be rolling in points.
Open ControlsThey were playing Chelsea
Open Controls*Arsenal 😕
Open Controls
you have Baines for the attacking threat for which he will have plenty of oppurtunity and cleansheets in atleast 1 of 2 games is likely, you have Kompany for cleansheets mainly and his chances are probably around 1 out of 2 games aswel......so based on that i would stick. PL games playout very differently to cup games
Open Controls
Jagielka is better than Cahill imo. A solid first choice pairing.
Worse than past pairings sure, but compare them to other international pairings. There are few around betterOpen ControlsRf 😳
Open ControlsBetter pairings:
Thiago Silva, Luiz
Hummels, Boateng
Pique, Ramos
Kompany, Vertonghen
Chiellini, Bonucci, Barzagli
So the best sides in world football probably have better CBs than us, but thats to be expected, I see your point though, not too many betterOpen ControlsKosc and Mert?
Open ControlsAgreed on those. Certainly not a bad area for us imo. RB is the real defensive issue. And lack of a real defensive mid
Open ControlsRight Back is a serious problem. Last season Johnson was brilliant, stuck two fingers up at his critics, played really well defensively and going forward.
This season he has been absolutely dire for Liverpool, had no desire, no threat going forward, and has been out performed by Flanagan.
But the alternative is Walker, who has also been a bit shite, it seems his only attribute is pace, has errors in him, and can get beaten too easily.
At DM it looks like we'll be playing Stevie G, and that worries me. If you compare Liverpool's goals conceded per game with Gerrard playing DM compared to that with Lucas playing DM its much higher.
Of course Liverpool's goals scored tally is higher too, as Gerrard can start moves off from deep with his raking diagonal passes, but for an England team not likely to score too many this is a risk.
Gerrard doesn't exactly fit into the team that well elsewhere, the best way to accommodate him is in a midfield 3 with two younger players who still have their legs and a bit of pace to cover for him at times. Not to say he should be dropped, his self belief and drive as a captain are worth a fair amount, but there are issues to look at when he is in the team.
We don't have many options though, you're right. Barry or Carrick could be drafted in to play DM, and push Gerrard slightly further forward, but thats not a very inspiring sight in midfield, neither of them are particularly quick any more either.Open Controls
Assuming all fit......AJ, Nolan or Ramsey for the DGW?
Open ControlsNolan
Ramsey
AJ
AJ maybe better longer term thoughOpen Controls
Captain choice is interesting this week. What are we thinking?
Open ControlsHazard for me. Suarez vice
Open ControlsSuarez all day long. Kind of game he thrives in.
Open ControlsMaybe Rooney
Open ControlsRooney again at the forefront of my thinking!
Open ControlsLukaku
Open ControlsTempted to bring in Aguero and captain him
Open Controls
It's true, the England CBs ain't what they used to be.
But it's even worse when it comes to strikers. Chris Sutton would be first choice these days! Him, Fowler, Sir Les and Ian Wright barely got a sniff.Open ControlsChris Sutton could also play centre back too 😉
Open ControlsWe were blessed for strikers in the mid 90s, its amazing how few games the likes of Fowler, Wright etc got considering their club tallies.
But Shearer, Sheringham, Owen were even better I guess.
It is remarkable how many caps Heskey has considering much of his competition.
Also, a tragic stat - Andy Carroll has more caps than Matt Le Tissier
Sturridge is currently prolific, and so is being hailed as the saviour of our strike force, but who else is there apart from him and Rooney?
Welbeck, Lambert, Defoe, Rodriguez.. Not exactly awe-inspiringOpen Controls
Is their a better midfield pick than Januzaj for 4.8 or under?
Open Controlsthe last few weeks noone has looked very good. Don't know about his fixtures, but at 4.3 looks very good.
Open Controls
Wildcard before or after GW31?
Without the WC my plan would be to not do a transfer this week, use the FTs next week and take a 4 point hit, then fielding:
Mannonne
Kos - Coleman - Bruce
Sterling - Mata - Hazard - Henderson
RVP - Remy - Suarez
(Bench: Marshall, Shaw, Ward, Noone)
Not completely happy with RVP/Mata/Remy (or the 4 point hit) but should I wait anyway?Open Controlsnasri
Open Controls
What a finish Welbz.
Open ControlsWelbeck really is a fantastic natural footballer. Great to see him starting to gain in confidence.
Open ControlsFeel stupid, wasted 4pts on Nolan > Bellamy d'oh
Open ControlsSitting at 512 in the ORs.
Thoughts:
Yaya and kun enough City coverage, or worth picking up a defender too?Open ControlsCity not been great defensively, would prefer an everton defender, depends who you currently have
Open Controls
I assume most will captain a Liverpool striker GW31, Is aguero that essential as most won't captain him and could get a diff striker who plays twice GW31 for a lot less i.e. Lukaku, Remy and then afford better def and mids, I want aguero but not sure he's essential, also taking injuries/minutes into account
Open ControlsDown 20k places 😆
Atleast i will have 10 DGW players for free. 🙂Open ControlsWho, who?? 🙂
Open ControlsMeh not counting Pozuelo! 😉
Open ControlsQuantity over quality for me . Already have 9 but only 3-4 are decent DGW picks . 🙂
Mannone
Baines Koscienly Skrtel
Mata Nolan Hazard Yaya(will get him next week)
RVP Bony LukakuOpen ControlsHmm nice. Interesting.
I have this:
Mannone
Evra Coleman Olsson
Hazard Lallana Paulinho Snodgrass
Suarez (C) Rooney Sturridge
Am going to do:
Lallana > Yaya
Paulinho > Nolan
Hazard > Gerrard 😉Open Controls
Fowler being linked with the Wrexham manager job. Can't see it though.
Open ControlsBeen reading the threads MJ, nice to see you in top 10K

46 from 8 with two transfers to play with. Small green up to 889...really didn't expect to see that when I woke up!
Open ControlsWas RvP tkaen of for a "rest" or did he play poorly?
Open Controlswas at risk of getting himself in trouble and was being wrapped up abit. played ok, had he stayed on i think he would have have got a goal/assist. saying that i think im gonna get rid
Open Controls
Where does the Sturridge vs Suarez debate hang as of today?
Open ControlsThere's no debate anymore. Get both or go backwards
Open Controlsnot true. With aguero back and better value in lukaku, ade, etc...it will open up. Not surprising that Suarez may fall tonight, but I am not sure if shipping him out (instead of Studge) is the right move specially with difficult fixtures ahead - he fares better than studge in difficult fixtures. Lets see if others have an opinion on this.
Open Controls
I can't believe that 15,000 have transferred in Aguero already, this could really force
me to transfer him in early due to money being tight. Knowing me he will go get injured before the Hull game. Aghhh annoying!Open ControlsSo is Defoe the England international coming out tomorrow?
Open ControlsHe's only been in Canada a week or so, give him a chance.
Open ControlsEh? I'm not a Toronto fan but I'm pretty sure an England international who was in the squad vs Denmark is set to come out as gay tomorrow, after which I saw an ad on GSS for a Defoe interview tomorrow...

Worth getting rid of Mata if you've already got him? I could have for -4:
McGregor
Coleman Chester Flanagan/Cahill
Yaya Hazard Mata Nolan
Aguero Studge Suarez
Might as well keep him?
