hopefully he'll be dropped for the rest of this season so he's cheap. 🙂

Probably around the £8.5m like Coutinho I reckon.

If Chelsea beat Liverpool & City win the rest of their games, City win the league on goal difference most likely.

I love all the Chelsea fans blaming anyone and anything but their manager.

In recent weeks, chelsea have lost against Palace, Villa and Sunderland, thats shocking. And, yet not a single person has pointed the finger at Mourinho, has he been that big of a step up from Benitez? I personally can't stick Mourinho, so Im probably a little biased, but I dont think he has been.

It's Mourinho's mentality. Never his fault and it plays off onto
The deluded fans. The way the Chelsea players and staff behaved today is a true reflection of their manager.

He was hated in madrid, he will soon be hated by most in England (if not already)

I'm not gonna argue anymore, mate. But, although my original post may have been a bit of a generelisation, I think that based on a lot of reactions elsewhere, my post referring to 'all' does reflect the majority of Chelsea fans' judgement. I also dont think my post was a lie, and the bit in my post about Mourinho not being a step up from Benitez was just an opinion, and so it can't be a lie.

The part in your comment that said " faceless fly-by poster" was where I came to the conclusion I was being judged by my lack of grav. But I could easily have been wrong.

Anyways, I've expressed my opinions, and you've expressed yours, lets not waste anymore time discussing them ,as I dont think either of us will change them. And, I'm sue we both have better things to do than argue on a fantasy football site! Anyways mate, Im sorry if you took my comments the wrong way, but I didnt mean for them to reflect on all Chelsea fans, and it was a mistake on my part to do so. Best of luck with everything, if we dont run into each other on here again 🙂

It's more than a bit of a generalisation -- it IS a generalisation. So you don't think your "I love all the Chelsea fans blaming anyone and anything but their manager." was at all inflammatory? Many have criticised Mourinho, in fact, there was outrage at him for selling Mata to United earlier this season. And I think Mourinho's honours list speaks for itself if you're comparing him to Benitez, although I never branded your opinion there a lie. I branded your first sentence in your entire post a lie, which was only there to criticise an entire set of fans based on a lie for a reaction.
The "faceless fly-by poster" comment was because that is what a lot of people here do when a certain team loses horribly on an emotional day. They post something like that, and sit back and watch the fireworks. Probably from a few of the well known posters here that love to wind certain fans up, week in, week out.

Yeah, it was a generelisation. And I shouldnt have said anything really, sorry, it was just a heat of the moment thing. Mourinho really does wind me up, and I'm a spurs fan, so naturally I have a bit of a dislike of all things Chelsea. I suppose at the end of the day, I have to realise it's just football, and stop making stupid comments. So, I will try and cut down on stuff like this.
Hopefully it's all water under the bridge now though mate, and that I've learned from my mistake.

That's okay, the rest of your post was alright, it was just the first sentence I had a problem with. Chelsea had just lost an important emotional game, and then it reads as an attack to wind us up further haha! Although some of the Chelsea fans do deserve winding up, as some of them act like tw@s!! I don't mind Tottenham either! Don't worry about it. Apologies if I came across as being too blunt, but it was more or less just type and post quickly, and read the rest of the posts. Take it easy man!

Thanks a lot mate. I thought you came across very well, you defended your team, and had well thought out arguements, which I have a lot of respect for. I just made a heat of the moment comment, which was wrong, but I'm gonna try and stay away from here when important matches are going on from now on, football can often bring out the worst in me.
I hope Chelsea fare better in the CL, I actually think they have a good chance of beating Atletico, and in a one game final anything can happen! Also, a win against Liverpool, and you're right back in the title race!
So, yeah, once again, sorry about that post, and that it came across as inflammatory, but I will work on not doing anything like that again.
Best of luck, and take it easy too! 🙂

If only Liverpool had other European games. I remember how tired they were around christmas because of the games backing up. Got knocked out of the FA Cup and COC early as well and we have played almost 15 games more than Pool this season so they can consider themselves extremely lucky this season. Fluke penos, less games , 100% focus on PL .

If the less talented teams in CL had made it to the semis, then I think Chelsea would have reason to worry. It's not the tougher competition they should be scared about, as they tend to handle those games well. It's the bottom feeders. They seem to look past such teams. And not just this season. They've had trouble with it for a while now.

and they beat us that day despite old red nose questioning their honour by saying they would throw the match just so united would lose the title! Seems like nothing changes re managers who have no class

Yeah, I seem to remember the Kop applauding Leeds when they won the title in 1992. Don't think it had too much to do with the way we were playing...although Batty, Strachan, McCallister and Speed was a bloody good midpark. 🙂

He shouldn't have taken Salah off today either. Chelsea needed a player like him to run at the defence, and give them more width; especially with Ba in the middle.

Totally agree with this. It wasn't Salah's fault that his players couldn't find him on the breaks. Funny thing is that I sensed he was gonna be subbed well before it happened. I felt he was going to get some wrongful blame for things not working out, and sure enough, that's what seems to have happened.

I think Utd would do best to keep Moyes next season. Who would people choose as replacement? No manager is guaranteed success and it usually takes time. Especially if you aren't going to but the title. Big Kudos to Rogers he has done an amazing job. But wasn't it Hodgeson who bought Suarez? and therefore deserves some credit

    Righty ho.
Low scoring day for most people so who are we eyeing up for the DGW and rest of the season?

Already got Mannone, Chester, Zabaleta, Johnson, Mata, Nasri, Aguero.

    Rooney? United defender? Vlaar? Huddlestone?

Or forego the DGWers and look at Ramsey, Giroud, Kane, Hazard?
