This week’s Captain Poll is a far more open affair, with players from four teams taking up the top five spots. Arsenal’s home clash with Newcastle brings in-form duo Aaron Ramsey and Lukas Podolski onto the radar, United’s first match since the dismissal of David Moyes boosts our faith in Wayne Rooney, whilst Luis Suarez and Sergio Aguero are, as always, amongst the usual suspects despite tricky weekend encounters against the Chelsea and Palace defences:

We take the top five in this week’s Captain Poll as our starting point and construct a members table based around a number of their key statistics in order to flag up any other players offering a similar sort of threat.

    Just reading giggs is set to give rooney the captaincy for the last 4 games

    One of the legendary winger’s first decisions will be to hand striker Wayne Rooney the captaincy for the final four games of the season.

    The two have been mates for some time, with a strong mutual respect.

    Looks like Giggs is going to build his team around him.Rooney comes in then for me....

    Should I take a hit for a defender?

      All have tough fixtures for different reasons, Ward imo has best chance of clean sheet, but Cahill best chance of maybe goal or bionus if Chelsea can weather a thunderstorm at Anfield (How will they be without Terry and Cech??)

    Can't decide on whether to transfer in Adam Johnson or Nasri for Silva

    Not convinced Toure is reliable enough over the remaining games to play them all and those two seem best options for double game week and nice fixtures
