The final match of Gameweek 1 arrives this evening as promoted Burnley prepare for the visit of Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea. The Blues are heavily backed heading into this one, with both Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas currently sitting in more than 20% of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) teams, while up front, summer signing Diego Costa will be looking to grab the goals and strengthen his armband credentials ahead of next week’s home encounter with Leicester:

Certainly, the stage is set for Costa to deliver after a disappointing series of displays from a number of forwards over the weekend, where only one (Saido Berahino) managed double-figure returns.

At the back, Jose Mourinho opts for Thibaut Courtois between the sticks, with Petr Cech relegated to the Blues’ bench. The Chelsea manager keeps faith with the familiar defence that earned 18 shut-outs last term, with new boy Filipe Luis amongst the substitutes.

    I'm the guy who held onto Arshavin 2010 - 2011 season when everyone else had Fabs.

    Surely he can't keep this up every week I thought, i've missed the points now I thought, it's Arshavin's turn next week I thought.

    I was very very wrong.

    Still bitter about it too.

      It looks to me as though Chelsea haven't pushed as much but also that Burnley have sat back much more. I think they need to press more when two goals behind -- they can't just rely on regular counter-attacks. Chelsea are playing it a bit safe but that's because Burnley's second-half tactics haven't put them under pressure and there's no reason for Chelsea to put the result at risk. I blame Burnley more than Chelsea for the quietness of the second half.

    Don't get the comments about Chelsea's style and Costa - he doesn't rely on pace, he is a poacher. Their more patient build up is exactly what he will thrive on
