Very balanced team. II think you should get welbeck in for ulloa by taking a hit. Could downgrade clyne to bert/toby or king to boyd. Long term this could be a great move.

Sometimes you have to pick players who you dont like. think like this arsenal have really good fixtures nd has the likes of sanchez ozil cazorla ox feeding you. At a bargain price of 7.3m playing for a top 4 club he is surely worth a punt imo 🙂

This is a tricky issue, the only way I can see to run with this is potentially run Welbeck and Pelle as the strikers plus Baines. The question is will Aguero plus a 4.5 out score a Welbeck or Pelle/Baines combination over the next 6

Good read. I hear where your coming from, none of these players warrant being sold from our teams at the moment. The only transfers we can make with teams like this is in defence
I wouldn't mind an aguero or costs picking up a little injury to make us change our squads a bit and break the template

Yes Pelle and Welbeck flanking Costa might be viable. No city coverage is a little scary though, they likely to batter someone 6 or 7 nil once they hit their stride

I own Pelle as opposed to Welbeck so for me the decision is Welbeck vs Aguero. Baines played excellently yesterday despite the pen miss and not having him could be a mistake

Yes, you guys that dont already have the big eight are at an advantage, but what would you do if Aguero starts scoring for fun, could be difficult to reformat team

I had Falcao instead of Aguero this weekend but he will be departing for Welveck or Aguero. Running with 2 mid priced strikers is risky especially if you need to get back on a big hitter.

The Argies are here in HK next week, pitches are terrible for injuries over here 😉

I agree actually , just play clyne and baines every week. I could do naylor to a 4 and downgrade bego to foster, and would have enough for baines

Would have baines clyne chambers moore duff with foster in goal

This is what I would like to do. But involves an 8 point hit. And I don't want to WC for just three defensive transfers. (4 if you include changing my 5th mid)

Timely post this. I was just looking at my team this morning thinking the very same thing: not only is it the template but there's also money tied up in the players as well. Siggy, ADM, Fab and Sterling are the highest owned mids because they are scoring the best - if you take one out and they score well while your replacement doesn't you're going to fall fast.
I was actually thinking of losing Fabregas but Walcott will be back soon. Of course there are no guarantees but if he's fit enough to play then you'd want him in your team, absolutely. Fab > Wally is an easy transfer to make. Downgrading Fab or whoever may look decent now but you'll just be scrabbling around for the funds to buy Wally when he's back. I suppose the answer is just to be patient and see what happens. Something usually does.

1314 might of given me the answer, i agree about the front eight, would be very brave and maybe silly to take any of those out right now. Just have to be patient and wait. Someone will get injured at some point. In the meantime can tinker with defence

I just tried the same thing that 1314 suggested - I'm 0.1 short. Who says the money isn't important this year!

I'm in exactly the same boat and I'm considering going Aguero -> Pelle. I just don't see Aguero exploding. Most teams when they play City play not to concede, Villa almost held out against them, Stoke did, and if City are leading and looking comfortable, Pellegrini will whip Aguero off sharply to protect him. In short I think he'll be a steady source of points but for 12.2 I think you need more than that.
By going with Pelle it allows me to have a defence of Baines, Ivaniovic, Clyne, Chambers and a cheapy which to me looks rather tasty.

Hi Little Frank. I'm looking forward to seeing your movie when it comes out. Big fan, I've got some of your cassettes somewhere. Aguero is absolute dynamite when he's fit, I really wouldn't sell him if I were you. Pelle looks good now but he's a homeboy and the fixtures turn in a few weeks....

      Keeping Begovic?

Thought Begovic to Guzan next week makes sense given fixtures. Guzan is cheaper and much more comfortable with him as lone keeper long term.

Thought Sterling not performing as well as the other 3 mids. Liverpool stuttering a little without Suarez and Sturridge may take time to be back to full match sharpness. Happy to have Chadli over him.

Considering Hazard over Fab, Hazard should get more points over the season, but Fab more consistent and continuing to do well.

They are pretty solid, his goal threat has been less than impressive though, and his chances.

Lukaku looks like he's in for a big one soon, especially with those fixtures. McGeady the one to keep an eye on.

Baines has only had around 6000 transfers in this week (nett). So although he is popular on here , he does not appear to be among the casuals who no doubt are snapping up di maria , probably rightly.

Missed a sitter off a Bertrand assist that really annoyed me. Definitely could have scored a couple though.

    Good Morning DZ!

I would appreciate any advise I can get on this topic.

I will be doing Fab --> ADM, in order to fund this I will need to downgrade Ivanovic

who would you replace Ivanovic with?

    Im thinking

    A) Azpi

    B) Cahill

    C) Terry

    D) Bert

    E) Other

my team is linked here for your reference

    DDG/Gilks
    Chester/Cahill/Duff/Dummet/Clyne
    ADM/Siggy/Sterling/Downing/Marney
    Costa/Pelle/Aguero

    1.7 ITB

Currently thinking of saving my transfer. Thoughts?

Didn't go through with it. I got 78 (-4) so it turned out to be a good call. Not going to do it this week either 😀

DDG to a Guzan or Heaton and Chester to Baines. I would tbh. I wish I could.

But that means I would be unable to get rid of Downing in the future? :/ He is my 4th mid

Have 2FTs, ideas are welcome 🙂 the def doesnt look too good...

    Forster (McCarthy)
    Moreno Naylor Clyne (Moore chambers)
    Siggy ADM Sterling Fabs (Boyd)
    Falcao Costa Pelle
    2FTs, 0.6

Defence is fine. Don't know what to do with those 2 FTs. Just keep both incase of any injuries during the break. If your squad is all fit then make a transfer before deadline if you feel you need one

    Think Im getting welbeck in

Arsenal have really good fixtures and has the likes of sanchez ozil cazorla ox feeding you. At a bargain price of 7.3m he's a nailed on striker playing for a top 4 club

Surely worth a punt imo 🙂

The temptations of taking a -8 hit in order to fix my defence (Includes bringing in Baines). But I just know it won't pay off..
