My co-host roughs me up over my cowardice, then slaps me around for the fact that I appeared to hoodwink the entire world over Diego Costa’s fitness. We then go on to appraise the merits of Ed Sheeran, check in on Neil Warnock’s latest gripes and weigh up the Sterling vs Sanchez vs Hazard debate. Meanwhile, Kieran Trippier’s cross count without an assist for Granville hits 66 and counting. Who’s dithering now, eh Granville?

      i think keep lukaku he has been doing good and has good fixtures and form. Sterling not so sure for the next 2 fixtures are bad newcastle in form so sterling to sanchez i reckon is the best move so transfer somoen else out not lukaku to make the funds for it.

            Not sure about that. Pelle and Welbeck surely have a decent chance to score 1 goal. that means Costa has to score two. Something he didn't do against the likes of Burnley and Leicester and something he has only done twice in 7 starts.

            Does taking a hit really protect you?

            Chelsea could still go crazy and a Fab assist would onlymean you recieved two points after the hit. While Costa could have had a hattrick

          It seems a bit desperate, what is wrong with Sterling anyway? he quite cheap really. Fab was cheap at the start of the season , but buying him at his current price is hardly a bargain.

              I nearly bought hazard in for the same reasons, then thought it dosent really provide protection if Costa goes big.
              And if Costa dosent go big then you dont need the others anyway

                  Fact is there a whole heap of players that could do well this week , all you can do is try and plan for the long term and hope for the best

                    Forget about this week for a moment, Costa is striker of by far the best team in the premier league, bringing him in can hardly go far wrong.
                    Those that dont have hm may get way with it some of the time, but by the end of the season hes going to be right up there

                      Of course. I can just get him next week, one game without him won't ruin my season. I missed out on his brace v Everton and hat trick v Swansea but I've recovered pretty well from that now.

      I can do for free - Di Maria & Ulloa to Costa and 4.7m or less

      OR

      I can do for -4 - Sterling, Ulloa and De Gea to Costa, 4.5m and 4.5m goalkeeper.

      I will likely do the former and lose Di Maria, believe he will be solid in the 5.5ppg range the rest of the way - similar to Fabregas, tons of assists, but won't be explosive as Sanchez/Hazard so don't mind it in order to bring in Costa to go alongside Aguero + Welbeck.

            Brought him last week as part of a hit with Pelle Champ. I'm just feel I'm in a bit of no man's land atm. I feel like I'm on the verge of a WC the last 3wks but keep stalling.

        Morning DZ,

        Think I've talked myself into Sterling -> Sanchez this week. Question now is which downgrade to make to afford it?

        A) Siggy -> 5.0m (Boyd/Obertan?)
        B) Clyne-> 3.9m (Saylor/Yun)

        Given A) would be my 4th mid, B) is probably the way to go right? Wouldn't need to start Yun/Saylor very often. Next question is, Yun or Saylor!?

        Just listened. It's getting boring now. Bring back Jonty, he's brilliant.
        Bring back the prof and his machine that cranks up.
        Bring back some community involvement ( Evs interview was great, but it doesn't need to be GW37 to interview a FFS regular). Why not catch a few words from King Mil Less, Rasping Drive, O'Shaughnessy, Triggerlips, .... All of these guys are doing extraordinarily well and I would love to hear from them in real time.

          Really you think so RCA? I have really enjoyed the scoutcasts so far. Mark sounds reinvigorated as he is off to a great start compared to last year when he was just down in the dumps all the time trying to massage his own neck as he watched each and every bandwagon go speeding by.

            I enjoy the scout cast too, don't get me wrong. It's just after listening to 100+ of them, I just seem to remember those ones where there was a 'differential'. IE, Jonty, The Prof, community involvement etc.
            Listening to the two guys is great, BUT Im looking for that little bit extra. I think they tried it and maybe decided it was a bit hard to organize maybe. A couple of new voices each week... That's what I'm looking for 🙂

              Yeah I feel that. I have only just joined the boards last year so I am not up there in reps as high as you I would probably be getting quite bored of it as well if I'd listened to 100+ 😀

                  That week when they had Evs and co in was really good, seeing what people look like etc. The current format very stale. Wil say Granville has a nice voice, and they interact well , but it all a bit pointless really

                  You're right it does. And you have whatever team value you have. And I have whatever team value I have. What does comparing do? Nothing. Everyone wants high team value and lots of points. Everyone is trying to accomplish the same thing.

          Kos due back before Stones but Debuchy still supposed to be out until we get winter WC I reckon so he will just slot into RB. Even still...Chambers probably better than Flamini right now and could play CDM.
