Will start of with 7 defences. Double up on Saints was great last season. Just dont see it this one , yet ?

7 for me - I only double up if I am very confident but I will have to see how teams are doing. (Bertrand and Clyne were my double last year)

I'd captain either Rooney or Hazard. Rest looks amazing, Mahrez and Clyne my only doubts.

I fear your defence may be a little costly, maybe think of dropping Ivan to azpil to save a mil and upgrade elsewhere like Wilson to sakho. Aside from that you've made some pretty sound choices and it looks a decent lineup

I have him. As I said earlier today, Kane has to perform to keep Spurs alive. He's their only hope.

If he had started at 9.5m last season he'd be in everyone's teams. Also if he didn't have such a tough first fixture he'd be more popular.

I'd say he's a little overpriced at 9.5, if he performs like last year he may be worth getting in, I'd rather wait and see how he starts and rather benteke at 8.5

I had a dream that he scored a brace at Old Trafford on the opening day, and people on here were falling over berating themselves for writing him off all summer - 'Why didn't we see this coming', 'Kane is essential', etc.

Probably a sign that I need to stop thinking about FPL though, rather than a premonition.

Still decent value even with a little regression and that price tag. Thoroughbred, not a donkey IMO so he is priced accordingly.

I've got Rooney Kane and Sakho now. I think that Hazard will do better than Costa, so that's why no Costa. Thinking about getting Aguero in for GW3 or 4, which would mean Rooney comes out.

I'm not a fan of premium keepers, but if you're going for one it might as well be DDG. Like Azpil and Clyne, but the other three don't work for me - I'd either pick one guy to play every week or three that work together in rotation for up to 13.5 in total.

Biggest problem in front 7 for me is lack of a captainable Chelsea asset as an alternative to Rooney.

looks like a strong team, although I may be saying that as it looks very similar to mine. I'm unsure of alderweireld as well, I couldn't decide on a decent 5.0 defender and went for 3 x 4.5 defenders and utilised the extra .5 in my forwards and mids.

It's hard to say. On paper they compete for the same spot, On the other hand it's not impossible that Cisse could play off him. We won't know until the Sheff Wed friendly at the earliest.

Defoe isn't nailed, could play out wide. So Zaha and Wilson.

Arsenal or United mid and Sakho for Cabaye and Benteke if you want some more balance.

I think there are a lot of good cheap midfield options! I'd have my eyes closed for arsenal games if I were you though! Plus cabaye might not be as good an option as bolasie! He is sharing set pieces for a start!

Bolas or is my preferred of the two as he is proven, although I'm not much of a fan of palace's opening fixtures so id maybe look to other options in that price range. Having said that bolasie is always going to be decent value at 6.5

I would downgrade Silva to Sterling, upgrade Mane to Depay and Sakho to JRod.

It's a good team, I'll give you that. Your 3 forwards are interesting choices, one of few teams to not have Rooney or Costa, I think that might be a slightly risky move. Kane at 9.5 could be good value although that is only if he performs how he did last season, which will be some task.
