    Looking to replace Silva. I can't see any standouts so thinking I'll need a punt.

    My other alternative would be to bench Silva, and instead play Ozil, Mahrez, Payet and Alli in midfield.

      Gylfi is a good option actually. Dont even consider Hazard, remotely. Literally not worth a 5th mid slot for 4.2.

    Every time I watch the Arsenal mids play I can't help but think that Sanchez looks like a headless chicken with a 'hit and hope' policy (no wonder he is always 'due' - some have to go in eventually, right?) while Ozil looks like a World Class player effortlessly orchestrating his teams attacking play.

      Not sure I'd agree with the headless chicken thing but he was awful yesterday. Couldn't even control the ball in the second half.

      Then again he created a great chance which should have had someone on the end of it - silly lazy Giroud!

        I am already regretting my oh so clever move to swap Ozil for Sanchez with my last WC the previous gameweek. based on, oh I dunno, goal threat I suppose. or the chance for big haul.

        It was a mistake imo, Ozil and the funds was the right play. Already regretting this decision.

              Fair enough. I'm not saying Sanchez is a bad FPL pick. Far from it, his explosive potential is there for all to see. However, imo Ozil is the better pick unless you manage to captain Sanchez' hauls

          I had Ozil since GW1 and knee-jerked after Sanchez' Leicester hat-trick. Reversed it after 3-4 weeks anyway but don't intend making the same mistake again

      I have both right now but if I had to sell one it would be Sanchez, annoyingly I went with Alexis over Firmo because of the blank, I forgot the golden rule of 'this weeks points this week'

      I honestly think you need both. Ozil is consistent and Sanchez, when he hits form, and he will, is practically a striker.

      Alexis struggles when teams park the bus and he ends up wide a lot, he is less incisive. But big games against teams who go for it (see United and Leicester this year) he thrives.

    Annoyed I had Huth for a long period from the start and dumped him out when he only had one clean sheet all season. Is it worth bringing him in now for a FT? He'll be replacing Baines but it feels like chasing points, do people think his form will continue?

    Also bringing Mahrez back in again after owning him since the start of the season and only getting rid during Leicester's few games with few goals - this one is a no-brainier right?

    In the space of 2 weeks I dropped from 8,598 to 43,783, through no fault but my own. My team is:

    Butland, McCarthy
    Ivanovic, Huth, Dawson, Dann, Van Aanholt
    Sanchez, Mahrez, Payet, Arnautovic, King
    Ighalo, Aguero, Kane

    Should I use my wildcard to clear out the duds? Sanchez back to Ozil, Ighalo, Dawson, McCarthy, Butland, Arnautovic, Payet out?

      I wouldn't do a panic WC. Players who you mentioned are lacking form, but fixtures are good so be patient imo.

    I had two red arrows two weeks in a row for the first time, I had to fix my defence.

    Currently I have Zouma, Simpson, Targett, Dier and Borthwick J with 1 FT and plenty in the bank.

    Hello gents, hope your gameweek was good!

    Does anybody know what's happening to Mertesacker, this has been his second week not playing. Does it make sense to replace him with Cedric on this lot after West Ham's game tomorrow (maybe Payet gets injured)?

    I'm also looking at Siggy & Firmino but can't sell any of my midfield with such good fixtures coming up. Ighalo to Afobe is another option I'm considering.

    It seems to be that best strategy this season is do nothing. Selling Mahrez 3 gws ago and Özil this gw wasn't the smartest move.

    My differentials doing pretty much next to nothing except Firmino and template team just keeps on scoring.
