Most people plan to WC early so no point having an Italian defender against Belgium.
If people are going for an Italy defender it seems to be Giaccherini - He's 0.5 less, playing OOP and on corners.. No brainer over Darmian

Main worry is Fabregas and Spain destroying the Czechs. What's not to love about Alba, Schar and Dragovic? Maybe Hector over Schar?

Part if his appeal is those underlying stats. Under the radar potential. May come to nothing, but there's no point having 11 players that everyone else has. Plus Turkey have enough to get through that group I think, despite it being the tricksiest one.

Season 13-14 was when he played for Hamburger SV, when they were almost relegated. Probably his best season to date, but didn't score 11 free-kicks that season.As I thought, it's 11 free-kicks scored in total over those 3 years.

Popular choice is Strinic. I have my doubts, but at least he plays earlier so can be removed if he's a no-show.
