Save. No need-to-have players lacking, and the sub par performers from GW1 could easily turn it around in GW2.

Who's captain sensible this time around? I see a lot of people here going for Zlatan, but I feel way more confident in Kun.

Besides: Who to bench out of this lot?

    Friend - Evans - Francis - Amat - Pieters
    Capoue

What is putting people off Heaton and transferring to Foster for?

Foster got a CS against palace, yes. Myhill+Foster combined got 83+56 last season which is 139(With 11 CS). Heaton alone got 150 with 10 CS in his only season. And now with more save points than that season, he is surely gonna better his stat on paper. Lets see though. Shouldn't rush on a GK transfer.

Myhill+Foster's 139 is from 38 games which is 3.65 per game. Foster already got 10 the first match day. This point may increase. But it should be around the 3.7-3.8 mark. Heaton got 4 anyway. This should be a wait and see. Evans and probably Brunt could be a far better option with his options on the Set piece in the coming weeks, no?

Yeah I changed foster to Heston based on the 150 points Heston season. Also because I could get a west brom defender.

I did for this and another reason was to have a 4.0 GK who would actually play when Heaton gets injured. Robinson at 4.0 would give me that option when Heaton gets injured. I could take Jakupovic but I won't play him now and he will lose his spot soon. Heaton won't and having Robinson makes me sure that his injury or red card won't force an FT.

I picked Pickford thinking he'd be first choice over mannone at Sunderland, but he isn't. I had foster jaku for weeks. Never thought of having two keepers at the same club before.

I have Foster + Jaku, but only because of WBA fixtures until gw7. After that Heaton is in on my WC, either on his own or alongside Foster. Expect Heaton to do better season long

No I get that. To maximize your point potential, you got to bench Shaw and Foster. But Shaw's chances at a Cs edges redmonds chances to score. But Redmond is playing as Striker classified as midfielder. So I can't just bench him.
Who is your other Gk anyway?

I have yet to see an injury free team around here who actually needs to make a transfer. All of the popular preseason picks in the comment section still seems like viable options too me - and no player did so extraordinary well inn GW1 that it warrants a transfer in. Knee jerking is not unusual, but can easily see a few getting burned in GW2, transfering out a player who scores well for someone who blanks.

I'm glad I don't have Vardy, Kane or Tadic in my team right now, but if I did, I wouldn't feel too bad about letting them play in GW2.

        Good man - that's reassuring 🙂

I need to choose between VVD, Friend and Capoue. They'll all probably score a maximum of two points, but I'd rather take the chance on Capoue getting something extra.

VVD also may start anyway, trying to decide between him and Love (Sunderland).

VvD could be a good shout. Decent attacking threat and United could struggle slightly as Bournemouth are nowhere near as defensively solid as Southampton. Plus United were sliiightly lucky to get 3 the last day.

The fact that it's Mourinho's first game in the league at OT is daunting though. Nothing wrong with playing Capoue 🙂 he could sneak another goal from a Deeney knock down 😉

Ah we were lucky to get the first, but we could have had more than three after that - the goal opened it up a bit.

I do like VVD - he seems to get shots away a lot, not just from set pieces either. I'm 50/50 on playing him as I do have Ibra and Valencia also.

    Advice on Mane please:

    A) Bench - Play 4-3-3 with Amat joining Stones, Val, JT at the back.Weak looking midfield.

    B) Play - Pray he somehow he starts, risk a cameo, Amat autosub.

    C) Transfer out?

      B for me, I think.

1st sub is between VVD and Capoue for me. Amat looks a good option for you.

If he's only confirmed out for one GW, though?

Spurs away isn't a bad fixture for liverpool attackers

    Foster(Heaton)
    Evans friend mee (Francis McNair)
    Mahrez Townsend tadic Ramirez martial
    Aguero long (gray)
    4m itb

Heavy on the saints against Man U. Keeping tadic think he might be this years star. Want a new striker but happy to wait another week see how ibra does.

May sell marred and get hazard, sterling, routledge

If I go routledge may make a change and have 2 swans with him and Lorente any suggestions

I think Redmond will be the breakout player, though tadic was good too in the first game too.

Nobody worried that at some point Redmond ends up on the bench ?

My watchlist at the beginning was Mussa, Redmond Bolasie Rooney Gray. tadic was the 1st player on my teamsheet. Not impressed at all with Ibra

Do we think Carrol will loose his place to the new forward - Calleri?

Doubt it may be a rotation risk with Europe

Do not trust Arsenal to keep a clean sheet and Swans vs Hull has more of a possibility of being a cleanie imo

Is captaining redmond mad? I don't know where 8 pm Friday kick offs fall under the possibility of a good game or not. I've learnt to avoid early saturday kick offs. Dunno how Mourinho at old trafford will be too, in the last few years loads of players from mid teams have done well.

No way is it worth the risk. Away at OT doesn't become much harder than that.

Not mad as he's in good form, but captaining any player away to United is always risky.

Would be a bit too much of a gamble for captaincy imo. If you don't do it and he does score, then please don't come on here and go on about how you should've captained him. Those posts are the worst!
