The FFS Cup – Sponsored by FanDuel – Final Reminder

Time is running out to sign up to the 13th instalment of our open to all Fantasy Premier League cup competition.

Qualification takes place over Gameweek 11 and we will keep entries open until 9am UK time on Monday November 7.

As we revealed last month, this year’s contest is sponsored by FanDuel, who are donating more than £1,000 worth of prizes for UK based entrants on top of the £350 in Amazon vouchers we are offering to the top three managers at the end of the competition.

In addition, all UK entrants who take part in the cup get a £10 free credit from FanDuel added to their account when they play their first game. This can be used at any time as soon as you register with FanDuel.

Sign up to this latest Cup competition via the entry form here.

Timetable

The qualifying round will take place in Gameweek 11, with the first round running in Gameweek 12.

The first round will consist of 1024 teams and, as usual, all the competition’s previous winners who enter will gain a bye into the first round draw where they will join the top scorers from Gameweek 11. FPL standing will decide who progresses in the event of tied positions.

Previous winners must enter to be included.

The cup will then be played out according to the following Gameweek schedule:

Deeney -> Austin for a hit? Will give me enough funds to do Lukaku -> Kane when the latter will be available for selection. Plus Austin seems to have a much better fixture to score than Deeney.

      1. skodaole2
        • 11 Years

Already taken 2 hits and this will be the third. I have taken twice -12 in 4 years and both times it paid off immediately. My team was awful and its like a minor wildcard that sometimes its needed. I try to check each hit as its own, despite having taken another hit or not. I think i am going to do the -12 this time

    Heaton | Foster
    Walker | Coleman | Holebas | McAuley | Love
    Shaqiri | Walcott | Capoue | Ozil | Firmino
    Kun | Wilson | Lukaku

              Fair enough.
The trade needs to consider who is coming in and the IB coming up? Will the $$ left over from the trade help with your next weeks trade?

The only transfer I'm planning next GW is Zlatan out, regardless of his performance this weekend. Lukaku is current favourite, but Kane, Costa and cheaper options all on the radar also. The fixtures don't really lend themselves to selling him at -4 cost this weekend as I already have Aguero and Austin, who are the two I'd most want otherwise.

Sold for Allen today as my FT, struggling to field a fit starting eleven.

      -8 though, that's a lot of points.

    Best move of these?

    A. Walker to Fuchs FT

    B. Walker and Sterling to Simpson and Hazard -4 (have the exact money,so need to do these moves this GW)

    C. Save. And have 2FTs for international break. (Play Evans when Walker has difficult fixtures, easy home games coming up for Walker..)

    What's your view?

    Thanks.

A, wouldn't take a hit to take sterling out this week.

    Currently...

    Heaton
    Bellerin Clyne Fuchs
    Sanchez Firmino Coutinho Shaqiri
    Kun Tekkers Rashford

    Pickford Pieters Capoue Amat

    Rashford > Austin/Wilson for a -4?

With almost everyone complaining about DEF this week..
Is it the best week to use the AOA? At least the MID won't get minus point for conceding.

A lot of people taking hits this week, not taking one could be a bit of an advantage.

Depends. It's ok if you gain TV and if you want the player anyway in a weeks time.

Snodgrass to Redmond or Gundogan for a four point hit? It's either that or I start Fletcher.

(Lukaku, Costa and Aguero up front, Sanchez and Firminho in midfield, hence the rest of the midfield is a bit ropey)

    Thanks

Help on best move with 1 ft & 1.9 itb

    Heaton
    Walker, Kosc, Jags, McAuley, Kingsley
    Coutinho, Firmino, Theo, Allen, Capoue
    Kun, Lukaku, Defoe

So am I correct that trading a defender is my highest priority?

    a) best defender to ship? Was thinking Jags?

I'd rather own a striker playing against Sunderland than one who plays for them, is all. Think it's worth a punt, since you have a transfer going spare.
