Dugout Discussion – Sunday – Part One

Sunday’s four matches get underway with a lunchtime double-header as champions Chelsea host Everton, while West Brom take on Stoke City at The Hawthorns.

Some Fantasy managers will be torn by the Stamford Bridge meeting. The Blues defence are well backed via Fantasy Premier League investment in David Luiz (25.9% ownership) and, of course, Marcos Alonso (18.2% ownership). T

he Spaniard heads into today’s contest off the back of his devastating two goals at Wembley against Spurs, having picked up over 245,000 new owners ahead of Gameweek 3.

However, Everton’s Wayne Rooney has also soared in popularity following back-to-back goals. He claims a 20.4% ownership ahead of the Chelsea clash and is the most popular captain pick on show in the early kick-offs: 93,000 have trusted him with the armband.

Meanwhile, at The Hawthorns, there is no question of the preferred outcome from a Fantasy perspective.

West Bromwich Albion will be seeking a third successive clean sheet against Stoke and boast the Gameweek’s second most popular transfer target in their line-up.

The towering Ahmed Hegazi has picked up over 504,000 new owners ahead of today’s clash and already ranks fourth for transfers in ahead of Gameweek 4 before taking to the pitch.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

KDB owners what are you guys doing with him ? i already have kane, lukaku, miki. dont really fancy double up on spurs player and cant trust city player atm.

    a) swap him for hazard/d.silva/alexis? sell him now or after international week ?
    b) keep him for a few more gameweek

Wait until after international games. If you make the move now, Sod's law dictates that whoever you bring in will get injured in an international game.

He's still the safest City cover for attacking points. Immune to rotation unlike others, the points will come. Remember, he's got more assists than any other player ever since he's joined the PL. Patience is the virtue if you have him, Liverpool next remember.

his value is dropping and yea. probably keep him till hazard is fit. hahah.

        Utter twaddle!
"He's still the safest City cover for attacking points"
Not playing where he is right now he isn't, I'd put my hat on David Silva or even Sterling as things currently stand as cover for attacking points. and more value too
Oh and btw, not sure I would even use the word "safe" when it come to Pep and selection 😆

Did Everton not learn anything from the last time they played 3 at the back vs. Chelsea?

Scoreline notwithstanding - wonder why Koeman lined up this way.
