“This is how the ScoutCast was meant to be” exclaimed Granville.

He’s not wrong. If you’ve successfully avoided this brand of nonsense to this point, episode 232 provides a less than gentle introduction.

Just don’t expect me to take a beating every week.

That’s certainly what pans out over this lengthy landmark episode which finds me rolling the punches after my “ill-timed” Wildcard.

Granville and Jonty take turns to dish out the blows, while Andy and Az make uncomfortable spectators.

Once the scuffle dies down, we do our best to address the latest community questions, assessing strikers, mid-price midfielders and the latest wing-backs demanding our attention.

But, for once, that forms the undercard for the “big fight”.

      nothing wrong with that, Lukaku isn't value if you aren't captaining him. If you sold him for Kane and captain Kane over the next 4, then thats a sensible move for me.

    Do you think Danilo likely to start given he was rested in CL game? Trying to decide whether to take -4 hit to Davies particularly as Hegazi also in my defence and may not start.

    1 free transfer and 0.7 itb.

    Potential options are Abraham to Joselu but not 100% on a Newcastle triple up. Brady to someone or save transfer and pay Dunk instead of Brady. Any thoughts welcomed.

        Cheers, stats wise he isn't setting the world alight in comparison to some others but I bought into the hype pre-season. He has scored...not sure what I expected from 5.5 worth of striker though. Cheers.

      I don't see enough of a pressing need to waste a FT when you could save it up for next week and do something important.

      Play Brady this week. Presumably you bought him in the first place for his set pieces and assist potential, so play him. It's not a defender up against Liverpool attack.

      For me the choice is whether to play Dunk or Abraham, and personally I would play Abraham because goals can happen in any match and you'll be kicking yourself if he scores - just think Choup-Moting scoring a brace v Man United, I bet if he was in your squad you would have benched him because of the tough fixture. Just play the best attacking players you have, every time.

      Why even own Choupo-Moting if you're not going to play him in a good fixture after scoring a brace against Man U? If we've learned anything so far this season it should be to pick your attacking players when possible or you'll miss the hauls e.g. some people benched Gross for a 4.5 defender and he scored 18, or took out Alonso v Spurs and he scored a brace, etc. Pick and stick when it comes to potential goal scorers.
