There’s something special about a Gameweek under lights and, even with just four matches to get things underway, there is excitement and expectation in equal measure.

Tonight’s eight teams boast enough Fantasy talent to deliver significant points – not least Harry Kane and Romelu Lukaku, who will doubtless be the top two captain picks on show yet again.

The smart money – and the armbands from active Fantasy managers – are likely to be with the Spurs striker, as Kane revisits the ground where he fired an incredible 31 point return in 2016/17.

His owners will gladly accept a more modest tally this time around, though having scored six of his nine goals on the road this season, double-figures could again be within reach.

Less is expected of Lukaku, who will collide with a Watford defence that has kept back-to-back clean sheets. The Belgian’s form remains a concern, with his recent strike against Newcastle his only goal in the last six Gameweeks.

Elsewhere, the big news from The Hawthorns is that Newcastle United’s goalkeeper, Rob Elliot, has been dropped from Rafa Benitez’s line-up. Priced at 4.0 initially this season, Elliot boasts an ownership of 26.4% who must now turn to their reserve option. For the managers who also own Crystal Palace’s Julian Speroni, there is no reserve option, ensuring they look set to be forced to market ahead of Gameweek 15.

Talking of Palace, news from their “local derby” with Brighton finds Christian Benteke in the starting line-up for the visitors, with cut-price midfielder Ruben Loftus Cheek perhaps moving to a No 10 role to accommodate his return.

      No, and you don’t need to. He’s in great form at the moment but will disrupt your well-balanced team. Pogba and Azpilicueta for example will likely outscore Hazard and a cheap defender. You have 2 Chelsea players to cover their excellent fixtures already.

          Been wondering about that myself. Pope's been great, but eventually he'll make way for Heaton... just haven't heard anything. But hey, that's what our second WC is for 🙂

    Need to drop either Davies or Jones, too much money tied up in non-nailed/injured. What’s the best option here?

      Considering A myself, but speaking of nailed-ness, we just don't know yet... might know more after tonight, but then again, will he be rested for the weekend?

      I've had Otamendi, it was a mixed bag – as long as Pep really doesn't care about defending, I feel it's sort of a waste of a premium def slot. Actually considering Mustafi, as the Arsenal defense seem to rely on him (6 of 7 cleanies with him on the pitch).

    Already planning towards next week: suddenly I think my team looks quite nice. I can now actually work on getting a better bench, with holiday rotation looming.

    A) Jones -> Christensen/Mustafi/Smalling/Duffy
    B) Vardy & Choupo -> Niasse & Pogba/Sterling (-4)
    C) Upgrade Mbemba
    D) Elliot -> someone nailed
    E) Carroll -> RLC

    Quite fancy Jones -> Duffy to rotate, and maybe upgrade Maguire to Azpi or Choupo to Pogba. All help appreciated!

    Instantly feeling regret after pulling the trigger on Tarroll > RLC(afraid of price out after last night) while I already do have a plan of getting Hazard in in the first place and it's for a hit!
