Merry Christmas from Fantasy Football Scout

Christmas is all about family. About sharing. About goodwill to all men.

I do a bit of that, though my day also involves points hits, rotation concerns and whether Harry is going to blank at Wembley.

I don’t wish this on you but, deep down, I know it’s too late. You’re just as lost in this as I am.

So that only leaves me to thank you for reading this and, of course, on this special day, for all your support for what we do here at Fantasy Football Scout.

Having this link to thousands of like-minded folk, similarly happy to burn hours contemplating budget strikers, is a comfort and a massive gift in itself. So thank you.

While I urge you to rejoin your friends and family, or at least find a channel showing Die Hard or Escape to Victory, I should also remind you that our Scout Picks and Captain Sensible articles will be with you later today.

Eat well, drink relatively sensibly and enjoy the day.

      We've been trying to crack that code all season.

      Historically, Pep likes to rotate his strikers. Less turnaround between festive fixtures makes this more likely. Given the fact that Aguero is supposedly carrying a minor injury, he could sit the next one out. And there's murmurs about some issues between him and Pep. All in all, all signs point towards Aguero sitting out.

      Which means he's definitely starting.

        Haha my thoughts exactly. I've had to transfer Austin out due to his suspension. It's a very strange feeling when you're hovering over the sub button to take a hit for a player like Aguero against a team he scores against for fun. FFS Pep!!
