        Thanks! Food for thought.
Got Kane early so can only get Phillips (max 4,7) in a Lukaku combo.

    Liverpool awards night (I know)

    - Coutinho wins 4/4. Deservedly so
    - Sterling wins YPOTY - gets asked if he's staying, then booed, then sworn at. Deservedly so.
    - Gerrard lifetime award. Sung YNWA. Standing ovation and applauded goodbye. Deservedly so.

I've convinced myself Milner is a good pick, based on Southamptons away form (4 losses in their last 4 away games, 0 wins in their last 6 away) and Citys home form (15 goals in their last 5).

I have Silva and Aguero, and no one else in their team appeals as I can't afford Yaya, I hope it pays off!

I can see why DDG wants to leave, not a first that a player wants to return home for one reason or another. Pair that will playing for a better club and it is fairly logical.

As for Sterling, Liverpool should not really be surprised. They pinched him from QPR offering to pay him more etc and now he is doing to them what he did to QPR.

This is a very apt point often overlooked

The amount times you see clubs moaning that the player wants out for a bigger club and higher salary, when they themselves tempted the player from a smaller club with the same promises

        1. Guidinho
          • 13 Years

Im an Arsenal fan, its pure hypocrisy when I hear Wenger moaning about Barca unsettling our players yet for years we took advantage of a loophole allowing us to offer professional contracts at a younger age.

Everyone is at it, you just have to get as high up in the food chain to limit the damage unfortunately.

He has had one good season but frankly this year he has been rubbish. He has a lot of potential but players these days think they deserve to be playing at the highest level straight away. He should really prove himself at Liverpool for an extended period before people start thinking he is a top player. This is a problem with the English press in general, the same is applicable to Kane. I want to see three consistent seasons before I start thinking a player is the real deal and could be world class.

        3. Somalion

I have. But he'll have to accept more of a bench role, as I really don't rate him that highly. Only team I think that might use him a bit would be City.

      4. Somalion
        • 14 Years
        9 years, 7 days ago

Very correct. Only thing I'm confused over is DDG going to a team that has the most toxic atmosphere in football at the moment. Imagine if he had a shaky start like he did when he moved to United, Real fans would rip him to shreds.

Still, when the Galacticos come calling it's hard to say no.

Cup final for me. Already have Sanchez, which of these should I go for:

      A. Ramsay
      B. Bolasie
      C. Puncheon
      D. Siggy
      E. Mata

No I mean the real cup final, none of that FA Cup malarky.

I'm thinking Bolasie (assuming he will play up top again) or Mata. Since it's for 1 week only, I'd rather not have the Arsenal double up and spread my bets a little bit.

I already have Hazard and I'm not thrilled about that at the moment. Not up for doubling up on Chelsea attack given their last two performances.

Ye, I agree. I'd like to pick him because it's the exciting option but the guy I'm facing doesn't have a particularly strong team so I'm inclined to play it safe if there is a safe option.... not sure there is this.

Will feel so wrong going in to the final GW with 3.5 itb! Need to look past that.

Not a bad shout. On set pieces and most shots on target from midfield at the weekend. Definitely worth considering.

Rambo is a good differential himself and 30 pts is a lot. I'd advise you to gamble and lose Alexis instead to make more differentials assuming you think Ramsey will play.
