Fantasy Football Scout daily hot topic

Who looks to be the best triple captaincy candidate for GWK 37 and why?

With no Aguero, Sanchez or Kane there is slim pickings in Gameweek 37.

There are some safe options, who should at least get some returns. In this bracket I'd put Payet, Fabregas, Defoe and Deeney.

Then there are some potentially lucrative risks like Sturridge (rotation risk/constant injury worry), Hazard (was Bou a blip) and Carroll (rotation risk/constant menace to defences).

I'm completely undecided but have provisionally put it on Payet with a view to looking at better options. I see at least a couple of assists from him so he's a good starting place for the triple captaincy chip.

Payet's form is a little patchy or he'd be the obvious candidate.

I'm interested to see if Sturridge is benched for the Europa game and if they get knocked out, then he will surely start the first game of the DGW and likely the 2nd too as they have no other commitments to worry about.

He looks a banker should that scenario transpire

"Payet's form is a little patchy"?

Where do you get that from? He has been performing exceptionally well. Or are you referring to FPL points (which are not at all the same thing)?

For me it will be Payet or Sturridge or Hazard/Pedro if I decide to get one of them in.

Sturridge will depend on him not playing 90 on Thursday. Hazard/Pedro will depend on Monday and whether I can discern what Hiddink is likely to do re. selection. But I'll be happy to go with Payet otherwise.

Sturridge will not start both DGW's, Klopp won't take the risk.
Carrol's form has affected Payet returns plus United just beat them.
Defoe plays at home against two leaky defences plus he's explosive.

Don't forget these are WHM last games before moving and also pushing for top 4/Europe. Payet / Carroll should be motivated and I doubt there will be rotation.

20 points ahead of my rival with a couple extra DGW players, but he has Defoe and Carroll. Which transfer should I make?

    A. Rashford to Defoe
    B. Kane to Carroll
    C. Kane to Sturridge
    D. KDB to Hazard
    E. Something else

I wouldn't make any move until after the Europa League matches. If Sturridge starts, he's unlikely to start against Watford and by then we'll have more information about Hazard for MNF.

    DDG (Darlow)
    Moreno Cresswell Smalling (Bellerin R.Bennett)
    Hazard Firmino Payet Barkley (Sanchez)
    Sturridge Defoe Carroll

3 pool players are risky, but can't fint any better alternatives for now.

Moreno to Martin/Olsson. Firmino to Brady/Redmond. Sturridge to Deeney/Rashford. Barkley to Fabregas/Hazard/Willian/Pedro depending on later match performance.

Liverpool = 1 match players. If they goes through to the finals then it'll be a no-show from them in 38. Europa finals is just 3 days after GW38.

    Alli > Redmond
    Aguero/Kane > Carroll
    Delaney > Cresswell

    bench Sanchez, Bellerin

All for -8 to give me 8 DGWers. I'm almost definitely doing the first 2. Weighing up the 3rd. Is it worth it?
