FanDuel

Introducing the Free FanDuel Survivor Contest

For the first half of April, we have teamed up with FanDuel to launch an exclusive free-to-enter “Last Man Standing” style contest, spanning the next four Gameweeks.

Called “Fantasy Football Scout Survivor”, this latest tournament differs from FanDuel’s distinct weekly and daily contest format as it covers a number of Gameweeks, with competitors seeking to survive through to the final round.

The format for “Survivor” will be instantly familiar to anyone who has participated in Fantasy Premier League “Last Man Standing” tournaments.

After each round of fixtures, those managers that rank in the bottom 50% of scores will be eliminated, with the top half marching on to the next stage. That continues until the ultimate winner is crowned – the highest scoring manager in the fourth round of fixtures.

Existing FanDuel customers, as well as those new to the game, are free to take part in this contest, although it is worth noting that this is only available to UK residents.

There are 300 team slots available and entries are limited to one per FanDuel account, so be sure to claim your spot in this exclusive free-to-enter contest.

Also, for new customers that register ahead of this tournament, FanDuel are giving away a free £5 credit, which can be accessed by using the promocode SCOUTFIVER when signing up via this link.

If you’re building a FanDuel lineup for the first time, we recommend taking a look at our strategy guide that examines which players to target in the various positions.

Getting Started

Click here and pick your FanDuel lineup for the first round, taking place in Gameweek 30.

Once your lineup is complete, you will either need to register an account or log in.

If you’re registering for the first time, Don’t forget to use the promo code “SCOUTFIVER” to claim your free credit.

When your line-up is entered, you can log back in and edit it, right up until the kick-off in the first match via the “upcoming” tab.

Should your team qualify for each next round, you will find a dummy line-up available, allowing you to tinker ahead of the next set of fixtures via the ‘upcoming’ tab in the FanDuel lobby.

Schedule and Prizes

The competition takes place over Gameweeks 30 -33, with the deadline for entries set for 12:30pm Saturday, April 1.

Here is the full list of rounds and the number of teams involved in each:

  • Round one – Saturday 1st April – 300
  • Round two – Saturday 8th April – 120
  • Round three – Saturday 15th April – 60
  • Grand Final  – Saturday 22nd April – 25

The winner is the competitor with the highest round four score, who will receive a £30 Amazon voucher and a £20 FanDuel credit.

The highest scorer in rounds one to three will receive a free entry into the following week’s Fan Favourite competition.

Coleman injury--does this give a place to Holgate or Jagielka?

Exact reason why I don't make early transfers when internationals are being played. Many fires to put out, now Coleman to get rid off. So glad I've got 2 free transfers in the bank.

That's what it looked like to me.

I wasn't watching the game but just logged on here to see what was going on about half an hour ago and read about it, so I looked it up and saw a replay of the injury.

True. Although Ireland were fairly physical in the first half I doubt Taylor had malicious intent. Then again Bale did gash his studs into O'Shea's shin about 45 seconds beforehand.

David Buust for Coventry in 96 against Utd was a bad one.
Got to give it to Djibril Cisse, two horrific breaks one for Liverpool, other with France. That guy seriously has some balls, for it to happen twice and still carry on playing for so long.

Not seen it in gory detail but Taylor's an honest player.
Sometimes players fly in with just the ball in their minds.

            I've not seen that.
Players fly into tackles and this sometimes happens. Horrible (I've been 6ft away and seen one up close) but no one does it intentionally.

There's being late and there's being reckless. Taylor was reckless. Don't know how he could even complain to the referee.
Dele Alli's red v Gent was right in front of me and I knew it was bad, but it wasn't reckless, it was late, but they wouldn't even show a replay of tonight's at the time it was that bad. These things happen but if you aren't reckless they rarely do.

I'd say Taylor was reckless. Looking at it in very slow motion he's not really late, not like the Bale one I've seen.
Tbh I've seen many worse tackles than that, Alli's being one.
Suppose he has to be sent off but I'm very old school in that for me tackling is one of the best parts of football. No one wants to see legs broken though.

Yeah but when the guy you just tackled is holding his dangled leg he should stfu and show some concern rather than protest

Not seen much but the guy nearest Coleman also argues it (could be Bale?) and he must know whats happened.

Not necessarily - hope not in some ways. The one I saw we knew straight away cuz we DID hear it go.

Poor Seamus, he's in my team, don't care about flagging, price drops, whatever, the poor bloke's badly broke his leg, perspective some people please.

If it's a compound fracture of both bones it will have to be pinned and he will be on traction for a good while . Could take a good 18-24 months before its healed properly and then there's no guarantees that he will play again.
      Poor lad.
