The 2016/17 season comes to a close this afternoon, with all 10 Gameweek 38 matches getting underway at 3pm.

We’re spoilt for choice in terms of armband options for the final round of fixtures, with the top three players in this week’s Captain Poll – Alexis Sanchez, Harry Kane and Philippe Coutinho – are serving up their highest hauls of the season in Gameweek 37.

Kane’s four-goal blitz at the King Power takes him two ahead of his nearest challenger Romelu Lukaku for the Golden Boot, while Sanchez welcomes Everton on the back of three successive double-figure tallies.

Throw in champions Chelsea at home to relegated Sunderland (Eden Hazard and Diego Costa both start) and Man City’s trip to a decimated Watford defence and it’s fair to say that goals look very much on Sunday’s agenda.

So sit back and enjoy the frantic next couple of hours’ action – it won’t be until August 12 before domestic action comes back our way again.

        Well the intention for the ball to go to Pedro certainly was there. Lescott headed it, but it was meant for Pedro.

    There was an assist given as the intent was to pass to that player, if that assist is not given to Fabregas, then I will be going all Fuzzy Warbles on Mark. 😛

    Kane single handedly destroying my 60 point lead....

    oh the regrets i have now....only got myself to blame.

    - kosc red card (with kompany on the bench)
    - opting not to take a hit for kane (purely my stupidity)
    - rival has evans 2nd sub coming on after mustafi, gibbs injured
    - sanchez injury + arsenal red card didnt help
    - kompany on bench
