Dugout Discussion – Everton vs Burnley

After Arsenal eased past Brighton at the Emirates, we now make our way to Merseyside as Everton welcome Burnley to Goodison Park.

The Toffees’ start to the season has been far from convincing yet they have scored seven goals in their last three home matches across all competitions.

Budget frontmen Oumar Niasse and Dominic Calvert-Lewin – at 5.0 apiece in FPL – are both handed starts but Wayne Rooney’s 11% FPL owners are left disappointed as Ronald Koeman drops him to the bench for the first time this season.

Elsewhere for the hosts, Gylfi Sigurdsson looks to stake a claim for our five-man midfields ahead of clashes with Brighton, Leicester, Watford and Palace in the next five.

But Burnley’s away form will worry the home side.

Sean Dyche’s men have claimed points on the road at Chelsea, Spurs and Liverpool, with Robbie Brady and Chris Wood looking their likeliest source of attacking points.

Like their hosts, the Clarets also have fine upcoming fixtures – they entertain West Ham, Newcastle and Swansea and travel to Southampton in the subsequent five.

      Yes. If you must due to funds then do it now, there might be regrets though.

      If funds ok then wait a while, but still yes.

      Alli looks lackluster. Trippel Spurs overkill as long as you have the main man. No City coverage is plain dumb the way they play now and the fixtures coming compared to United.

              I really thought I might carry a FT this week ... but dodgy reports on Jones, Kun car crash etc.

    I know there's a lot of love for Kola here, but probably even more for Bavies. Which would you prefer, Kola+Jones/Maguire or Monreal+Bavies? Maguire has great fixtures but Lei concede lots of chances. Jones has got bad fixtures (3 out of 4) and a lingering injury-problem. So i'm think of a -4 while I still can. Don't want to downgrade Eriksen or Salah
