Despite the lack of fanfare surrounding Richarlison’s Premier League arrival (as demonstrated by his sub-0.1% opening ownership level), a sensational series of early Gameweeks quickly drew widespread Fantasy interest in Watford’s wide man, and have even sparked rumours of his inclusion in Brazil’s World Cup squad for the upcoming summer.
Richarlison burst out of the gate impressively, with a goal and an assist in his first two games, and an impressive four strikes in his first seven.
Of late, however, the returns have begun to dry up for Watford’s main man. Now goalless in his last ten, his ownership has tumbled from a high of 1.1 million to just 900,000 over the last few weeks. The emergence of similarly-priced budget options in Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard and West Ham’s Marko Arnautovic have also seen Richarlison slide down our own Watchlist.
Has Richarlison’s play deteriorated over recent Gameweeks – or can we expect to find him back amongst the goals in 2018?
We’ll be exploring the Brazilian’s numbers across a range of key categories, in order to ascertain his value moving forward into the second half of the FPL campaign.
