Aleks Kolarov is a legend around these parts. Two seasons ago I backed the Serbian to shine, only to be left eggy faced as he City man huffed and puffed without impact. Now he’s back and this time it’s personal.

Having crashed the party with a 20-point haul in his last Etihad encounter, Kolarov is being lined up for a start this weekend and even Granville’s taking notice. Having ridiculed my affections for the player and gloried in his failings, the Mancunian has got himself a crush and he’s struggling to fight it off.

This week’s ScoutCast features a lot of Kolarlove, along with the supporting cast of regulars as Granville steals a mini-league march and starts to sound cocky.

    Captain thoughts.

    Defoe, great fixture and in form
    Cazorla, great fixture, but will he bring the points? Arsenal looked poor last few games.
    Hazard, tough fixutre, explosive player
    RVP, Robin Reliant, big game player

    Currently on Defoe, that game should have goals.

      I would be worried about Ade coming on for Defoe around 60 mins. Of course, if Spurs are 2-0 up with a Defoe brace, then all is good, but I like my skipper to be "guaranteed" the 90.

        I feel like this is a bad week for my captain choices, I have the wrong players for this week. So all of those choices seem risky to me. Ade was out of the europa game with a back injury though, he's not guaranteed to be ready for this weekend.

    I saw a this quote from Wenger earlier:

    “[Carl] Jenkinson has done very well but has had to play in every game. We are happy that we have Bac available again. His experience is important as well."

    This sounds to me like young Jenks will be dropped, which is a problem for me as I have Pienaar and Demel already out. And Guthrie. Worth a 4pt hit to switch him to Wilson?

          Ramsey's an okay player but you can't play Arteta, Cazorla and Ramsey together in a midfield 3. Wilsheres not big but his tenacity and tackling will add a lot. Shame for Arsenal Diaby can't get it together for an extended period of time - seriously good player.

      Fletcher to Ba. Newcastle coverage is nearly essential for their run of fixtures. Ba is about as good a pick for a goal this weekend as anyone in the league. Fletchers fixtures are poor really.

      ur wrong. If there was ever a week for stability in captain choices , it would be this one, and since you have both Tevez and RVP, it has to be Tevez C and Rvp (vc). Tevez will start, score and crush Swans and Rvp could well get a goal or two v Chelseas back line.

        But is Tevez really guaranteed to start? I'm not so sure. Has to be a risk of him getting a 20 min cameo for a 2 point captaincy haul. And yes RVP is RVP but I think the Che game could be tight. A rested Bale on the other hand against a leaky Sou - I'm fancying it.
