Captain Sensible – Gameweek 16

We roll out the next instalment of our weekly article for Members this evening, offering an in-depth statistical analysis of the main captaincy contenders for the set of fixtures ahead. This week, more than most, getting the armband call correct looks crucial – given that all of our featured five have acquired at least 12% of the votes cast in the Gameweek 16 Captain Poll, opinion looks split right across the board. Time to delve into the data, then…

    Mig Lewis
    Terry Coleman Clyne Wilson Chester
    Hazard Gerrard Ramsey R.Morrison Januzaj
    Suarez Aguero Rooney

1 ft, zero in the bank.

Wanted Silva in for Gerrard but I'd have to downgrade elsewhere and take a hit....anyone see a move worthwhile?

Or just save? Morrison and Januzaj could both start and have decent fixtures, while it wouldn't be the worst week to go with 4 in defence.

    Thoughts?

i am playing morrison and januzaj this week. id say save it, this isnt the ideal week to bring in silva anyway, and next week your options may be clearer (plus you'll have 2ft for flexibility)

About to pull the trigger. which sounds better:
    A) Gerrard to Oscar/Lamps
    B) Gerrard and Chico to Yaya/Haz and Debuchy (-4)

Bearing in mind that one transfer leaves me fielding 11 only, due to injuries and suspension and that 11 includes Januzai who isnt gaurenteed to play.

    Show of hands please!

I know the champions league needs to be fair to all countries but are Celtic really one of the best teams in Europe?? I think they would struggle to stay in the PL. The same can be said to some other teams in there to be fair.
