    Re post due to new post

    I think that RVP consistency gives less chance to catch up in the rankings. HE is so consistent and the high ranked managers just captain him and enjoy the pts. The captain is the numero uno differential. In the past there were several captaincy options and there were more chances and the game was more interesting. Now every week there is the boring option captaining RVP

    Any chance to get out of this "trouble". Maybe with Kun captain at home? Or?

      Well even a DGW doesn't sway the majority. He has that fear factor and with Southampton at home next and with the gap cut and City hosting QPR, I wouldn't go against RVP (C) next week.

      Well after the game I asked from the lads in here: Name 3 starting strikers in the PL worse than him atm. No one was able to do that. That worse IMO. Awful awful performance !!!

      I'd upgrade 1 keeper prob Bunn, downgrade O'Brian-- Demel and upgrade lambert to fletcher and downgrade Shawcross to cheaper Stoke defender.

        Can't quite afford to do all of that, I downgraded O'Brien, I have had Shawcross from the start so he is pretty cheap.

          Personally too much spent in defence . Had Shawcross also untill a WC him out . Only 2 teams managed clean sheets this GW . There's a lot of cheaper options at the back that will return attacking runs .

    Over the course of the 6 same games, I would expect Bale and a Theo Walcott playing as CF to score fairly similarly. But Surely Theo is involved in the games that would produce the most goals for his side there?

      I thought Yakubu, Fletcher, Sturridge were the one "dead" striker. Why would you go lower and get Pog?

        Because it would allow me to keep RVP and get either Suarez or Aguero and a power 5 midfield of Michu Fellaini Bale Mata and Gerrard/Walcott. If you have Sturridge or Fletcher then you play them every week and hope for something, Pog would never play unless i have injuries or suspensions.

    Hey guys, apologies if this is a stupid question but when you transfer out a player you have gained money from why do you lose team value?

    If I get rid of Sterling who I bought at 4.6m and can sell for 5.0m will I lose TV? How does it work?

      You will lose the extra 0.4M locked into Sterling as his actual price is 5.4M

      His value is 5.4, for someone who wants to buy him.

      So you just get half of what you gained on him. Your TV will fall by 0.4 when you sell him. But I still would!
