Dugout Discussion

The Dugout Discussion – Saturday

A busy Saturday afternoon of Premier League action delivers six kick-offs at three o’clock before we head over to Villa Park for this evening’s encounter, with Chelsea seeking to extend their lead at the top of the table.

Bottom placed Fulham will be hoping for a vital three points to drag them out of the relegation mire when Newcastle pay visit, while fellow strugglers Cardiff face a testing trip to Goodison Park, with the Toffees looking to push on into the top six.

Up in the North East, two of the Premier League’s meanest defences – Sunderland and Crystal Palace – square up at the Stadium of Light, while Pepe Mel looks to ease the pressure on his tenure in the Midlands by claiming the points from West Brom’s trip to the Liberty Stadium to face Swansea. Norwich are another side scrapping to keep themselves out of the bottom three; they face a daunting test today at St Mary’s, while West Ham will look to cement their mid-table status by claiming the points at the Britannia against Mark Hughes’ Stoke.

As always, you can look to our Twitter feed for news of today’s teamsheets, while our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open and will accompany you through today’s matches right through until the whistle at this evening’s Villa Park fixture.

Same here -- makes for some pretty negative viewing as the big players I own others have captained. That being said, Lallana was quite risky considering how good those big players are.

Oh man, it's been a good week!

I stopped watching after like 70 minutes after Cardiff equalized thinking there goes the Coleman clean sheet and just having seen Lallana go off before 60.

Come back to check a half hour later and JRod has scored, Snodgrass scored and Coleman too with the Mannone CS in the bag!

Only bummer is Lallana, and oh well, can't get em all! Suarez (c) to come!
