Captain Sensible – Gameweek 32

Last week’s runaway winner of the Captain Poll, Luis Suarez delivered yet again with 25 points accrued over Liverpool’s pair of fixtures against Cardiff and Sunderland. The Uruguayan was usurped by Yaya Toure, though, with the City midfielder ending Gameweek 31 as the top scoring player on 31 points – surprisingly, in spite of his outstanding season, you have to go all the way back to Gameweek 17 to find the last time Suarez finished top-scoring player in any round of matches:

Once again, we analyse the armband options on offer in our weekly members article. Taking the top five in this week’s Captain Poll (Suarez, Wayne Rooney, Eden Hazard, Toure and Romelu Lukaku) as our starting point, we construct a members table based around a number of their key statistics in order to flag up any other players offering a similar sort of threat.

    Do you think Coutinho is really above Agger in the Liverpool penalty pecking order. I mean I don't remember Agger ever taking a non-shootout penalty for Liverpool, but he still has pedigree for it

        Fair enough. I mean Its unlikely the situation will arrive where none of Gerrard nor SAS are on the pitch, but I was just wondering.
        I reckon Agger should be our second choice pen taker tbh, he's lethal for Denmark, got a brace recently, being a CB shouldn't be a problem, but he's never really taken many club penalties. Useful to have if it comes down to a shootout though

Little dilemma over here. Front 8 is:

Lallana / Toure / Nasri / Gerrard / Hazard
Suarez / Studge / Lukaka

I need to bench one. Catching up at top of mini league rival. He has Hazard. I'm thinking of benching him this week as I think Crystal Pulis will concede few goals. It's him or Nasri for my bench I think. Thoughts?

TV £115, hence the big players. Defence good too before start slagging me off! 🙂

DGW34 question ;

I'm facing a DGW blindness selection dilemna. Which 2 would you bench from this lot?

Puncheon, Ward (AV, eve)
Cahill, Hazard (swa)
Sturridge (MCI)

I think benching the 2 DGWers looks a strong possibility, agree? Would leave me with 7 DGWers (3 x city, 3 x everton and Mannone) for free and saving FT that week too.

      very good mate 164 (-8). Managed to wrest leadership of my ML. Only by 30 points but against someone who's entire game is based on get in front and copy to stay there it'll be fun to watch him chase whilst I keep doing my own thing. How about you.
