The ScoutCast – Episode 130 – Hangout

The ScoutCast revolution is here. Not content with having to ensure our voices are up to scratch, Granville and myself decide to risk ridicule and stream our first live Google Hangout version, putting our hairlines and choice of décor on the line.

Having embarked on this brave new world, it also made sense to shake up the content so we welcome back Jonty to fire us a whole host of questions from the community and introduce some special guests along the way. We start this week with none other than the world’s top Fantasy Premier League manager – Luke Weston is in the house to rub shoulders with mediocrity and field our inquisition.

PS: Apologies that we focus the camera on Granville and then myself – this is down to human error rather than our huge egos. With our ranks, we’d rather have been off camera.

  Ankle prob. He's not fit enough to train every day, or play two games in a week, it seems. Decent chance he'll be ok for Monday but his DGW appeal is defo dramatically reduced.

  Great to see the faces behind the voices, and the distinguished special guest.
  
  I would like it to show screenshots of Mark's and Granville's teams and of the Scoutcast team when they are discussing them. Perhaps also show the list of fixtures for the game-week when they are discussing potential clean sheets and likely results.
  
  How about making a feature of Granville's cat, like in the intro to Coronation Street or as in Ernst Stavro Blofeld?
  
  Possible guests could include other members of the scout team and Applebonkers, Wakey, SmartyPants, Forca, Fran (if still around), 'Katie' etc.

Need some opinions on these transfers please.

For GW35 - Yaya, Lukaku + Distn > Nasri, Bony + Flannagan. For a -8.
For GW36 - Marshall + Noone > De Gea + Mata. For a -4.

May have to transfer out Mutch instead of Noone as I have just enough cash now.

I'm 57 and 48 points behind the leaders in two respective mini leagues.

I know to catch them I need to NOT captain Suarez, perhaps going to for Eriksen or Aguero (who they don't have as far as I know).

But I can't bring myself to do this. Suarez LOVES Norwich.

Yaya - Mata & Coleman - Vermaelen (-4)

One standard, one distinctly punty, both getting rid of high ownership players who, hopefully, will be dragging others down in the run in.

Will probably do Luka to Rooney next week.

i am having an end of season attack of apathy,

have Dzeko, Silva and Hazard [and 1 maybe 2 def needs changing as well really] and can't summon the energy to work out what to do with them all. Also have AJ. Also have Lukaku and want shot.

And me with WC played not a month ago!

  Dzeko to aguero, hold silva, drop hazard for salah on a one week punt. Keep lukaku and bench for a week, then play or ditch for podolski.
  Take one hit a week for the next three weeks, rotate between eriksen to ramsey to whoever is back fit by then, work in nasri and mata for gw 37. Sorted!

  Studge is likely to miss this weekend and to be honest, while every effort will be made, a hamstring strain makes me think his Chelsea minutes may be limited. Crystal Palace coming up too. I'd sell Studge, despite Lukaku being questionable.
