    PVA, Bertrand, Naylor
    Fabregas, Ramsey, Sterling, Sigurdsson
    Pelle, Costa, Rooney

    subs: Gilks, Cattermole, Rio, Chester

Planning on doing Lamela to Tadic. But seeing as Naismith has started falling, should I also do him to Ulloa? Can't do the last one alone without the cash from Tadic.
But would have to bench one of Sigurdsson or Ulloa then...

This will happen over a couple of GW's but in a few weeks time would you rather A or B in the missing spots for this team

    Krul/Elliot
    Clyne/Ntaylor/Hutton/?????/PVA
    Fabregas/Di Maria/Sterling/Siggy/??????
    Costa/??????/??????

A Pelle, Boyd, Aguero, Wilson and 1m
    B Welbeck,Boyd,Rooney, Baines 0.8m

    Thanks for any input

Ramsay or Ozil? The stats state Ozil is now playing in the hole and this is where he plays his best football also Ramsays price seems to be falling.

So if I had Ozil in a 5 man midfield with silva sterling di Maria and fab that should be relatively safe as a punt?

I got ADM in my wc for Ramsey and it has worked out ok so far. Just think that Arsenals midfield will share some points this year.

Write off Ramsey at your peril though

Is this defence good? On WC, so any changes would be appreciated 🙂

    1. Heels_Over_Head
      • 10 Years

if on WC, why don't you just do Heaton/Gilks and be assured you'll have a GK weekly until the January transfer window?

might want to consider Chambers instead of PVA... going to be a hot commodity shortly as Arsenal's schedule gets easier after week 7

      1. Holmes
        • 10 Years
        9 years, 8 months ago

I thought about Heaton/Gilks but Mannone looks beast for high pts...
Chambers is already on 3YC, do you think he can avoid suspension for long?

        1. Heels_Over_Head
          • 10 Years
          9 years, 8 months ago

so... he misses one match... then he's still a 4.5 defender at Arsenal with a nice schedule in front of him and 5 more YCs to collect before he can be suspended again

what do you do if Mannone gets hurt?

waste a transfer on a GK... a position that almost never earns bonus points and has nearly zero attacking potential

Owning players from teams you support...

I'm a Clyne owner and I've benched him for most of his points this season. Rationale being if he concedes its doubly annoying as I'm a Saints fan.

yes... but I banned myself from owning players from my favorite team for two seasons... which seemed to cure the mental errors enough that i could go back to them... of course, i'm still not very good over all at fantasy, but at least i keep finding different ways to make the mistakes 😉

I would personally look to sell him, however it wouldn't be a priority. If you have no other pressing issued, then get rid. The fixtures are kind and he is very attacking so he could get you some returns while you work out a way to remove him. We aren't in any kind of for, at the minute and are woeful at the back, so if you have a FT then I would get rid.

In the EPL it's all about Chelsea for me and Leicester were my championship team.. Bought Terry purely out of bias so that dint work out well. Ignored leicester cause Vardy was injured(now he's straight back in!) and based on watching them the whole of last season i thought they'd struggle a bit with their fixtures(and i thought Ulloa would take time to settle and Nugent would be kek) ..

I don't know whether to get Welbeck now or get Pellè then swap him for Welbeck.

Personally, I think if I get Pellè now it's a waste. If he does well, I won't want to get rid of him, and if he does badly then I will want rid, but the move would have been a waste.

Yes, but ideally I would like Welbeck for the Arsenal fixtures and I believe Welbeck will do well over the next few games. I was seeing if the community agreed that it would be stupid to abul Pellè when I want Welbeck anyway for the fixtures.

I chose Pelle - he's £0.5 more, so it'll be easy to swap him for Welbeck further down the line if he doesn't deliver. Will give him some weeks though, with the nice run of fixtures.

If I were you, I'd get Pellle as that's how I play the game.

      he's not

      the problems are:
      - he's a rotation risk
      - everton seem to be prioritizing doing well in Europa League
      - there are a lot of players on the team vying to play his position who can be shuffled in for him
      - strikers slots are at a premium with only three and you want to own three that play every week

Eto'o back to fitness, Barkley will likely replace him later on when he comes back, Europa League causing rotation frustration, Ulloa just happened to score big at the same time as all of this so people have decided to jump ship and probably bank the profit made on Naismith's previously surging price.

I said this earlier regarding Kun - Man City have a big game vs Roma early next week so may mean he doesn't start against Hull plus the game after Roma is against Aston Villa away with a flu/bug free defence + captain Vlaar hopefully back fit so this may be two bad FPL weeks for Kun...

Dzeko will probably play against Roma as a lone forward. Aguero didn't start against Bayern so will probably be benched for the aroma game too.

I thought Aguero was benched against Bayern because they were chasing a 0-0 draw away plus had the big game vs Chelsea following. Now that they lost to Bayern they will 100% have to win vs Roma so will have to play the best XI which includes Aguero...right? If this is the case I can't see him starting vs Hull

Dzeko can score big in big games. I believe that Aguero will start against hull and get 30 minutes against Roma.
