The Scoreboard presents the Fantasy Premier League information you need from the day’s matches all on one screen, including the current top five BPS (Bonus Point System) standings from each match (potential Bonus Point earners are in bold). Actual Bonus Points will be shown when added – all points are provisional until then.
Most have Siggy already and I'm not convinced a double up would be effective. Plus, many have Naylor too.
The likes of Austin/Kane/Ings are much cheaper and provide better value imo.Fair enough, I got rid of Siggy few weeks ago and thats why I am looking at Bony now, plus he could be a great differential (CPL and QPR have conceded the most if i am not wrong) but if Chadli is not fit I might get both, Austin and Siggy
Either Austin or Bony for me. The latter would leave me with zero funds, though.
For me he is the most obvious replacement for Pelle.
If you have 8.2 to spend...
Well Pelle selling price is around that ...
I agree. Bony is in form and plays for Swansea, Austin plays for QPR and has a "Ulloa" feel about him. I might triple up and go Naylor + Siggy + Bony
Me too, triple up sounds good for a few weeks
Naylor 4 yellows
Costa has been on four yellows for weeks now and people aren't getting him in cause of it and its costing them. Naylor might get his YC against QPR at home, meaning he will miss West ham away, a game where I would probably bench him.
Well, I am not sure if i would triple up in that case but it might pay off (I regret not tripling up for Soton when I had the chance early in the season...)
Sure. Striker from #7 in the league should be more tempting than #20.
Austin or Kane?
Kane, I am not buying a striker from a team currently ranked last in the league
His performance against City has blinded the market.
If he and his team can continue that form, he's worth the investment though.
Clyne owners moaning. How many other defenders scored 7 this week?
Gary Cahill
Bertrand
Tied my H2H otherwise couldn't have cared less 😉
The 7 after conceding is very pleasing, but that silly yellow cost him 3 points.
2 points. 1 for the yc and 1 bap.
2 for the bap. -1 for foul too
I guess so. Didn't see it, was it a foul?
Yeah. Nowhere near a yellow
Yeah, shouldn't have been necessary though.
Haidaira
How many defenders scored a crucial, equalizing goal in a dull match and didn't receive bonus points?
subjective interpretation of the baps system is meaningless when it's governed by real numbers.
That was a not so subtle critique of the "baps" system. It fails to account for game-changing performances, the very essence of football, and therefore is inherently flawed.
It did account for it. He gets 12bps for the goal
Kerz is likely just ignoring all the negative things that Clyne did that the system didn't ignore which detracted from his score.
Not a slight against him, but easy to forget mistakes during 90 minutes of football when your judgment is clouded by one split second goal.
I think you're asking a bit much of a Fantasy football algorithm to demand it differentiate for such things.
No one is ever happy with the BAPs sytem. Plenty complained last year, plenty complained this year and plenty will complain next year.Personally I preferred the man in the stand. A computer has no empathy
I did too, but with a game that 3 million+ play you'll never satisfy everyone
For all its faults the man in the stands system caused less controversy than these algorithmic systems because a) it's often obvious to viewers who the man of a match was even if the stats don't back them up and b) it gave bonus to the actual game changers in a match
Lets agree to disagree.I don't disagree with that, I'm just saying that with so many players of the game they're not going to satisfy everyone. For all we know they find the man in the stands to be the lesser of two evils after this season and revert to that!
3
They've got a nerve Granny
Krul scored 9
How is that possible?!
Robertson
Goal playing and lost goalsHmmm, just logged in to see this. Not sure what moaning has taken place, but I thought he was the best player on the pitch before the goal. Pretty astonishing that Bertrand scored more highly when you consider the goal (granted Bertrand assisted it).
Only 3 bps difference between a goal and assist and those were accounted for with the YC and foul.
Indeed.
As above, I thought he was the best player on the park prior, and certainly better than Bertrand. I expect it would be hard to find someone to disagree with the second part of that statement.
It is what it is though. People will just have to suck it up.
When a defender scores a goal, you expect at least 10 points. Hence the moaning.
he got the bps points, he just wasn't good enough the rest of the game to deserve more..
That's the bit I'm struggling to understand. He was outstanding, and comfortably better than Bertrand to the naked eye.
Man in the stand would have him MOM every time. Even before the goal he would have been in the three.yep, it's just the fault of the system in that it is so specific I guess..misplaced a pass, -bps, cross doesn't find someone -bps..etc
Yeah. A reflection of someone views of the values of particular inputs. There has to be a chosen method in the end. None is perfect.
The bps points are different this season. Defenders get less bps for a goal than midfielders and forwards.
It seems like they get more for an assist, one assist for Baines/Azpi and 3BPS straight away. Same goes with Clark and Bertrand 😛
Are you guys keeping Forster or transfering in either Courtois or Fabianski in place of Forster and were you guys all aware of Chadli not making it for the Hull City game?
I'm looking at Guzan
Do you think I should do Forster>Guzan or keep Forster on bench and try to get Guzan by freeing up some of my funds? Thanks!
How long is Chadli out for?
I have Begovic who has awful fixtures but I'd get rid of Forster prob too. Don't think Courtois worth the extra compared to Fabianski, and crucially, he takes up a valuable Chelsea player spot, for people who have or want the likes of Azpil/Hazard/Costa
Yeah, I agree with you. Fabianski seems more consistent compared to Courtois.
Thoughts guys?
A) Pelle > Rooney, Clyne > Yun
B) Pelle > Austin, Downing > ADM/Hazard (have fab + costa)
c) Anything else?
Forster
Clyne Baines Chambers Duff Moore
Sanchez Fab Downing Siggy Boyd
Pelle Aguero CostaI prefer B with ADM as I am hesitant about Rooney. I think it's a great team either way though.
Leaning to B as it handles one injured and we can guess how likely ADM will play, but not sure about Rooney.
I, for one, am sticking with Tadic for at least another week.
I think he's unlucky not to get more assists and being Southamptons penalty taker (at least that's what i'm assuming) he still has a chance of racking up some points over this period of difficult fixtures, not to mention set pieces which United and Arsenal aren't great at defending.
Pelle I have already rid of, but Tadic I feel will keep adding the odd assist and goal, and with not many viable alternatives aside from the premium Sanchez, ADM, Fabregas, Hazard and maybe Yaya now, I feel he isn't worth taking a hit for, or even an FT if you only have 1.
Finally, if anyone watched the Villa game Tadic didn't play badly and, if anything, he may have more chances against the tougher teams as they wont be parking the bus trying to counter attack...this could blow up in my face over this period but I honestly couldnt pick an alternative other than Siggy (who I have already) or Oscar (but I have 3 chelsea players).
Any thoughts on this would be great, I might just be in my own little world!!People have been saying the same thing since GW6.
Get rid.Maybe next week as I'm not taking a hit, but who for then? Not many options
I applaud you for sticking to your guns and not doing the popular move. But I would say that Soton don't seem to have a team of tumblers so it doesn't look like they'll get a lot of penalties - maybe Koeman is one of those managers who encourages his players to stay on their feet (which also should be applauded).
Feel he could be a differential for me to up my 7.8k rank, hopefully! Point taken though, that's a good point, I've been waiting for a penalty for southampton for weeks, i'm hoping it finally happens during this period (providing he scores it aha!)
hello All
A - Tadic to an 9m player
B - Henderson To a 7.3 player
suggestions are welcomedBoth good options. I'd be tempted by a hit tbh!
Maybe make Hendo an even cheaper mid and Tadic a more expensive... like Haz or Sanchez.Cheers Mate , i'll really concider the hit option
Any update on Chadli or Downing?
No results for Chadli's scan yet and Downing is possible for next game
Downing should be fit according to Gold
Cheap strikers
Bojan, Naismith, Ulloa, Berahino = flash in the pan
Will Austin or Kane be different?i did Sakho to Kane before this GW and i cant say it didn't work
NOPE!
What are you planning to do with Pelle, Les Bleus? Not many options available other than the likes of Austin?
Think Austing can keep it up. Decent team, natural goal scorer, on penalties, good fixtures
Austin*
It won't be easy, you'll think it strange....
As chat up lines go, I've heard better.
Philistine!!!
As insults go, that's on the button 😉
Another week another red arrow. Help?
Begovic
Baines, Chambers, Dummett
Di María, Sánchez, Fábregas, Siggy
Pellè, Agüero, Berahino
(Gilks, Saylor, Wisdom, JWP-x)
1FT & £1.1itb.
Best use of a FT?
A) Berahino > Austin/Kane
B) Pelle > Austin
C) Bego > Fabianski/Adrian
D) JWP > Boyd/Ameobi
E) Saylor > Duff/Yun
Or do I WC to fit Costa in too?A with austin
Ditch bego & Pelle
Needs costaCan't afford him unless I downgrade Fabs or ADM to Chadli.
Pelle to Bony/Austin/Sakho/Inns if Baines is fit.. Rest is decent tbh.
Thanks Beavis.
No Costa still?
Berahino is a wasted spot it seems.
JWP and Saylor are injured.
Bego is shite.Berahino scores at home have been very good. Could keep for 2 more. Not sure about Costa. I don't own him either and not getting this week either that I can.
A. Thoughts on my post above?
Cheers and done 😉
A looks like the one free move that clearly improve the team.
It'd be nice to have Costa though.
Why does Di Maria have "Inj" factor in the watchlist?
Is he injured? It's not updated one would assume.
Not yet updated?
Last updated at 14:26pm today.
I hope I don't miss any another injury news.
The only thing stopping me WCing this week is doubts over long term places for cheaper defenders.
Anyone able to offer insight into chances of 3.9-4.1 group holding down a placeAnyone looking to Rooney?
He will be back in midfield in no time at all. Falcao training again I hear.
Home to Hull this week with no Falcao, though !
a bit hard with Aguero and the guy with your name scoring
I was going to last week and ditched Eriksen instead !!!!
Terry (sun), Naylor (CPL), Hutton (bur), Clyne (MCI)
Which to bench?hutton
Clyne.
Don't knock the current BAP system
I remember when Rooney got 3 BAPS for a 3 minute cameoDid he really ?! 😆
Any of the Southampton lot expected to fall tonight?
No.
Still not that soon.
Pelle will be the first to drop and he has 1-2 more days, I guess.
Pelle>Giroud?
Austin is on PK's for QPR correct?
Should be. He missed last one
Yep
Yep
He is.
think so. one of the reasons i'm considering him
*checks set pieces tab*
How much more until GW rank update?
Couple of days bro
Seriously :3 30-40 mins more?
they won't update GW rank until they've updated subs
Need to decide on transfers tonight or won't be able to afford it:
A) Pelle, Moore -> Austin, Baines
B) Pelle, Clyne -> Rooney, 4.3m def
C) Pelle, Moore -> Bony, TaylorBy the way, I got rid of Clyne two weeks ago on my WC
:embarrassed:Worth a try
: oops:
:green:
:*
😳
I shipped Bertrand
Wait for it
Fir kaboulWow
Mine was Baines.
Got that wrong actually. Not was yun
Cesc and Berty out for Sanchez and Yun. Not my best transfers
We all make a bad move here and there
😳
Thanks!Siggy out last week and Eriksen out this week
Current team:

My current team:

Have 2 FT. Do i do Bego>Krul and Tadic > Alexis?
Or am I to late on the train? Not many transfers in/out this week. Why?
Most teams are fairly settled
Lack of point scorers to kneejerk to.
Waiting cl games
The market don't have such rationale. I think it's as Milanista said.

How does this look for next week?Is Michael Oliver the worse referee in the PL?
Yeah
First I saw him was 3 years ago bet ween Norwich and arsenal when rvp scored a brace. Was 3-3 heading into the final few mins and denied at least 3 stonewall penos. Clearly couldn't survive the tension. Knew he would be a fail
Can anyone tell me how Siggy and Tadic are looking for price rjses/drops?
Cheerswhy don't you go have a look?
Cos im a noob and have no idea where to look. Thanks for your help though.
Nothing urgent with Tadic.
Siggy might go up in the next few nights.
Hard to call with great accurracy this season.@ and we all have legs.
Really would love to have Downing and Sakho in my team for West Ham's run.
You can transfer them in
Not sure Sakho is someone I'd bring in now
9 years, 6 months ago
It looks like everyone is buying Austin...surely Bony is more tempting with CPL and QPR in the next 2?
