This week’s ScoutCast is a throwback – a return to the days when Granville moaned about his team of red flags and names like Robin van Persie and Yaya Toure dominated our thinking.

Granville and I slip into such subject matter like it’s a pair of old slippers, whilst assessing the Aguero fall-out, the Dzeko option, Ivanovic versus “Dave” Azpi and how I’ve modelled my Fantasy Football management style on Roy Hodgson.

We roll out the regulars and lament the demise of the ScoutCast team – eliminated in the opening round of our own cup competition. Some things never change.

      People feel as though they have to splash the cash if they have it, the likes of Bony and Benteke could easily outscore him for a lot less.

    Hmmm, do I roll the FT and play a 4-4-2 including Yun, or use a transfer to get in Boyd for Albrighton and play 3-5-2? Can also move on Chambers to Azpilicueta and play him over Yun.

      Moore will probably end up 0 or max 1p. So yes imo. City has good chance for cs and Zab offers goal/assist threat.

    Options:

    A) Kun + Boyd = Yaya + Sahko
    B) Kun + Siggy = Bony + Yaya

    Been torn between two all week and can't decide. Prefer A due to Sahko's ownership but gives me selection headaches (which isn't a bad thing over christmas to be fair) and also is Sahko 100% to start? Also don't like chucking Siggy

    But Bony is reliable.

          Fair enough. I'm planning on doing Boyd + Aguero > Lukaku + Eriksen. Mainly to get some extra squad depth for rotation/suspension/injury. Having Siggy is my only reason not to go for Bony. Thanks.
