He's worth trying for a couple of weeks I think given his price and fixtures. If he doesn't look good then I'll probably downgrade one of the Southampton defenders and bring in Yaya.

Simple query, is it worth to take a hit to get Kun this week? At the expense of Rooney.Not for me.
That's my thinking. Feel so wrong to drop Roo against QPR this week. But then he's been a pain in the ***.
I mean I think holding Rooney is not wise, but I still don't think getting Aguero in for a hit is a good move this week.

While Kos is clearly the best defender, he has an ongoing achilles problem.
With Debuchy out, Chambers will be back in regularly, I reckon. He's only played 1 and 1/2 games in the last month, so he's good to go.

Doesn't matter to me. Strange things occur in the winter months and I'd want a more well rounded and reliable defense as a whole. Same applies for Albrighton. You could be in trouble if you have a week where you get a couple of injuries or something.

why you not keen on him?He's brilliant for us in the way he occupies a back 4, his hold up and link up play is class and brings others into the game. Sadly from an FPL perspective you don't get points for any of that and as good as he's been he is wasteful in front of goal, take a look at the stats in this article...2 shots on target over the last 6 game weeks. We haven't played badly in those games and have created plenty of chances.

With Toby Alderweireld seemingly out for at least a few weeks, which would be your preferred option?
A) Bertrand + Puncheon (short term 4th mid differential in view of fixtures since everyone is running with almost the same team + ~1.7m in the bank to switch to another in form 4th mid if necessary)
B) Gardos/Chambers (main concern that they are short term. Gardos looked really good last night though) + Tadic

Defense isn't great but you could get some CS there. Rooney is a midfielder.
Yeah I mean he's playing reverse OOP and is far too expensive for that. I don't think he's a good FPL pick at all right now until he gets a position change which may or may not happen. Your defense is a bit of a mess but I think there is way more points potential in making your transfers in attack and especially getting Kun in now and get some price rises. You will probably not get many points from defense this gameweek but so it is sometimes. It's either that or I would WC now.

just having a look at my gameweek history and I have had 11 red arrows and 9 greens arrows and have a rank of 9,649
how is everyone else ratio of red to green arrows??14 greens, 6 reds. The arrow doesn't matter, it's basically the position.

Captain pick is a massive determiner, too massive IMO. Take this week all those that captained Sanchez over Haz basically it doesn't much matter what the rest of the team is doing you're getting a big green arrow.......i am very happy with my rank and thought it was strange I've had more red arrows and than green.
