RooneyIt wasn't looking so good in the first half but they seemed more like the United of old in the second half, using width to find the gaps.
On a serious note I completely agree, ADM kept coming inside and fooking things up, Herrrera was being pushed all over the place because of it, far more natural when we playing a 442.
Yeah thats how I felt as well. ADM messed up the 442 formation so wasn't suited to the position at all. Blind and Herrera were much more involved in the second half with Januzaj sticking to his wing and causing problems. I also thought Young had a very good game on the left.

probably. i think it was more to do with rooney playing as a forward, and a midfielder playing midfield instead of rooney. LVG got lucky with RVP injury, and was forced into this reshuffle. i still think RVP is better bet than falcao who i think is a total waste of space.
and yeah januzaj did well to be fair, but i wouldn't start him if i was in chargeI seriously felt United were struggling to breach the defence in that first half. Januzaj was the deal breaker for me as he stretched the defence and caused all sorts of problems on the right. If it was me I'd drop ADM for Januzaj and continue with the same formation.

One was a penalty, the other a basically a tap in.We created alot more than that after the sending off TBF. This sort of post is why it's so hard for me to be even handed on here.
Did you watch the game? Januzaj pulled PVA wide which he didn't have to do in the first half. This created Space for Falcao to be 1v1 with a defender.
Januzaj got the assist for the second goal thanks to having a go himself. Was too hot to handle and Rooney did the rest.
