I get screwed every time I listen to last min advice here.

Knew Villa was going to score against West Brom.

Last minute Forster --> Foster fail.

I've benched the higher scorer 4 times this year.

NO offence but I think Forster to Foster is a bad move in general unless you're trying to save cash for something else

It's not even a transfer, it's benching the home player for the keeper for one of the best defensive record teams in the league, for someone playing in a derby game.

Oh my. Ah well. Unlucky mate and just brush it off. Youll be more the wiser next time. Im usually not on around deadline time but Ive heard countless tales of last minute woes and bad advice. Changing anything last minute seems a bad idea lol

Wait a minute!! So 24 out of 28, you picked the best option. That's bloody lucky so stop your old man whinging and deal with your own decisions.

You have to know when to take advice and when to make the decision yourself. Plenty of top notch advice is handed out on here, but there's also some questionable answers too.

I got told by a few people to play Dawson over Fonte, or to even sell Fonte > Vertonghen for a hit, but in the end I stuck with Fonte which has paid off so far. It's a lot more rewarding to make the decision yourself too.

Wow, great start mate. Don't think you can go wrong with that team this week after the Southampton clean sheet.

Southampton clean sheets kill me at the moment - only have Alderweireld and he's been an age getting back. 🙁

Still, my GW didn't really start yet - only had my GK play tonight. Tomorrow is the big event. And hopefully Saturday is an anti-climax. 😉

              Cheers Ruth.

Yeah Alderweireld has been a problem for a few on here, always risky getting a player in anticipation of his return from injury.

I chickened out on Aguero (c) in the end but I hope it comes off for you!

                No you don't. 😉

Mind you, it won't hurt you much if it does. 90%+ of the top 10k captained Kane .

I considered and re-considered it. But every way I looked at it Aguero seemed best to me. We'll see.

Benched PvA. I guess it may not be so bad. If Wolly get a cleanie or attacking returns I'm fine. Just funny how it's played out.

I completely ignored the Sanchez craze and captained Wally a few weeks ago. Was brill.

I don't think so at this stage with team value's up. Especially since he is a really good startable differential for his double in 34.

That's true, I am bringing Schlupp into my defensive rotation this week, partly for the same reason.

For me this is my 1st FPL season and it took me a long while to realise that building TV was important. So I have a lowish TV (around 105.00) and have to economise a bit.

Anyone else looking at having 3 saints and 3 spurs(ok 1 is kane, so that isn't a big deal) for next week before transfers. How do you plan to shift, if at all? Anyone doing a -4?

Coin toss between Mane & Cork, considering their opponents. Realistic expectations really do need to come into consideration. Plus, Swansea are at home...but I don't think it's worth taking a -4 hit over.

Might just do Jones>Bellerin. Only problem is Chambers is lurking and Debuchy is back in five gameweeks. Near the time of Chelsea's DGW. Might not want to use a transfer on him then.

Long way to go in this game week and until the next one but I think I might just ride it out and then re-assess with 2 FTs. Done that a lot this season when I haven't had a transfer in mind - just left it at nothing instead of overthinking and used 2 FTs to make changes the following week.

I'd quite like Sterling but not sure about next few fixtures.

        £3.3m.

I'm still not sure about Costa so don't want to get rid of all that money upgrading a defender just yet but Ivanovic is tempting.

I know on the Scoutcast they were on about offloading Southampton players shortly and Clyne gives an easy upgrade to Ivan but I like Southampton's fixtures after this week and the cleansheets just keep on coming.

        UFPL, pick 3 Strikers:

        Kane (SWA/qpr),
        Studge (BUR),

Worried about having no Liverpool tomorrow. Been a while since I said or thought that.

Me too , the form they're in it seems silly not having an attacker , might go Sanchez to Coutinho or Sterling to start getting funds for Costa

Berahino: Stoke, Leicester, QPR at home in next 4. Not too shabby that.

No ... pending any injuries or bad form from Austin, Giroud, etc. he'll be in my time for sure. The kid just keeps on giving.
