Just seen the news about Doos and seen the post Granville posted. Really is a testament to the community around here all wishing him the best, shows that fantasy football scout is more than just to do with fantasy football.

    Alderweireld fell.

Dead annoyed by that, he was on the bench, his flag should've been removed and his transfers should've reset to zero, but nooooooooooooo, he has to drop!

Morning All! I am one for over planning, should be sitting back and enjoying the week but making plans

    Foster/Myhill
    Hutton/Terry/Wollo/PVA/Haidria
    Hazard/Silva/Sanchez/Eriksen/Boyd
    Aguero/Kane/Austin

    3.3m itb 1ft

    A. Erik, Haidria, Austin to Mane, Bellerin,Costa
    B. Erik, PVA, Austin to sub 6.5 mid (Siggy/Walters etc), Alderwield, Costa
    C. Erik, Haidria, Austin to sub 6.5 mid(Siggy/Walters etc) , Alderwield, Costa

Thinking A or C. This will be done over a few weeks and of course injurys/ Cosata suspension will ruin it all

Think I could have laid that out more simply!

Me too. I also don't really like the idea of getting rid of Eriksen and just getting him as a DGW one off. I think he has the potential to score well with their pretty light fixtures up ahead.

It's funny I was so close to putting him in my GW1 team but didn't and now this is the first time I've brought him in all season. I'm very pleased to finally have him as I really rate him and like him, think he could stick around in my team for quite a while, if not until the end of the season.

Understand but i am a Costa addict. Want to end up like

          Foster
          Terry Wollo Alderwield/ Hutton/PVA
          Hazard/Sliva/ Sanchez/ Mane/ Boyd
          Costa/Kane/ Aguero

That looks tidy, SAB. I'd rather find funds by ditching Terry to a lesser being than downgrading Eriksen to a Mane like character. Although, if Mane said Sigurdsson instead then I might be more partial to this group 🙂

Scotch is best neat imo. I may give sours a shot. I like a drink when I am off and have been experimenting a bit recently. Mostly with different forms of gin consumption though. I was given some for Christmas and developed a taste quite quickly for martinis.

                Yeah for sure

Always good to experiment with a gin base, so many classic drinks off the bat and it mixes well. You should try a Long Island Iced Tea, sure you'd like it

I usually add a few drops of water to bring out the flavour.

I love the boutique bottlings of aged single casks from old discontinued distilleries. Highlands over Islay (too peaty, although a recent 33 yo Caol Ila was marvellous).

68 points for the highest score yesterday. Looking at his point hit history, looks like he plays for it every week and finally got what he wanted by toploading his team with Tuesday players.

Does anybody know if this gameweek is included in March monthly for some reason? Confusing on the site when you click into February monthly and the points for this week are included

This week counts for March not February. It tells you the current gameweek scores regardless of the month you filter.

The Iron Tulip has been quiet of recent, the occasional good result to squawk about, otherwise I think he's still munching hungrily on his humble pie with United's performance so far this year. Still feel sorry for Moyse, he would have gotten them to around the same mark i expect!

Moyes lost the players. No coming back from that. That said, I don't know how The Head(my preferred nickname for him) still has their respect.

This is the top of my mini league. I'm top and no matter what I do I just can't shake him off.

At what point do I just start going like for like with his players to cancel them out or force him into making changes he won't want to make?

You're ahead of him because you've made better decisions ... pull ahead by doing the same, a defensive play will end in tears! Eventually he'll have to play a punt and will fail!

7 or 8 ... you might argue a Chelsea defender is a 10 but not necessarily Ivanovic.

Having said that, he scares me every week as a non-owner.

I actually think he may get a CS but no attacking returns. SOU is a defensive team, and with solid wing and wing back that will peg Ivan back most of the game he won't spend as much time in the final third.

          • 10 Years

They'll peg no one back the way they're playing. And the fact that Berty's so attacking bodes well for Ivan's chances of scoring or assisting actually.

I found a small batch distillery out of Waco Texas that makes the most amazing Hopi Blue Corn Whiskey (US spelling). It's the only thing I have found in the US that hits my taste for true whisky. Distillery is called Balcones. Absolutely amazing stuff. Runs about 118 proof. A little ice and you wake up a week later . . . .

We have lots of Micro breweries in Colorado. I haven't had a Coors product since I was in college 30+ years ago.

Best is subjective I really could not say. Head to the royal mile and take a stop at one of the many whisky bars on the way down it and choose one at random is my best advice. There are 3 main types of whisky Highland, Lowland and Speyside. There are also those from the islands try ones from each of different ages is a good idea.

Personally I like peaty whisky's like Laphroig and Talisker. But they are probably a bit common for your tastes.

If you like peaty whisky isn't Irish whiskey better? I generally prefer it myself.

Brilliant advice. We are staying on Princes Street. I am partial to Highland. I like the oaky smoothness. (That's what she said.) We'll find our spot, no doubt. And I will make sure to sample as much as I can.

Other than whisky drinkin', is there a top "must see" you would recommend?

            Thanks for the suggestion.

HA! We saw that. We may get a little tipsy and go for the ride in the whisky barrel. I'll report back to you on that.

You should see Edinburgh castle which is at the top of the royal mile so will be easy to link in with drinking.

Yes. I am a history freak and I figured I can't miss it. My wife couldn't care less about museums, so I'll get her good and liquored up before we go and she can sleep it off in the lobby whilst I check out all the amazing stuff . . . .

National Museum of Scotland is in Old town and is quite good. Once she is properly plastered get her to go round there too.

Dalwhinnie is quite a nice highland whisky. I drink a reasonable chunk of Speyside whisky though as that is where I live.

This is probably the only distillery tour you could reasonably go on from Edinburgh for the day I think.

        Caol Ila
        Highland Park
        Bladnoch

Basically go for not single malts but single cask (also known as small cask), cask strength, non chill filtered. This ensures purity and precision of the flavour profile.
