FFS Cup

FFS Paddy Power Cup XI and Members Cup V – Second Round Draw

This evening we roll out the second round draws of the Fantasy Football Scout Cup XI, as sponsored by Paddy Power, as well as the fifth Fantasy Football Scout Members Cup.

There were mixed fortunes for our former FFS Paddy Power Cup former champions, with our team news man Demi’s score of 35 proving too much for past winner Wild Rover as he cruised through to the second round to face Brain Stem.

Gribude was another former champion to fall, with Snotgrass’s tally of 40 knocking him out in the first round. Toon_army_htl was the conqueror of reigning champion CMIFLFC, while former winner GoonerDave also missed out on a second round draw, after being removed by Blue Mooners.

That leaves three former champions in the competition after Jonty (that’s me) eased past Big Dolls to set up a round two encounter with Bahahahacelona and MCH defeated Aliminator to face Jonny in the second round. Donnellyc was another victorious former champion and he takes on I Just Did A Torres in the second round.

Other notable second round clashes include CB’s match with Mark, and Leaf’s clash with Paul.

Among our former Members Cup champions Trigg’s first round victory was the most eye catching. He saw off the top ranked FPL manager Dufflinks by the slender margin of one point in what was a low scoring week for many of the top ranked players. Trigg now faces Pdes in the second round.

Another former winner Fuzzy Dunlop was less fortunate. He fell in the first round to another community regular Jafooli, who now faces Mrben.

With Dufflinks’ departure, 12th placed Gratuzo is the Members Cup’s highest ranked surviving manager. Red5 who is ranked more than 400,000 places behind Gratuzo will be hoping to emulate Trigg’s success in claiming a big scalp in the second round.

The full draw for the Fantasy Football Scout Cup XI can be found here, while the draw for the Members Scout V can be found here.

Good luck to those involved in the weekend’s action. In the meantime, though, if you’re looking for more information on the Scout Cup schedule and prizes available, click this link for a more thorough rundown.

      City lack good wingers. Silva's position is not fixed, he plays on the left or behind Aguero sometimes.
      Their defence is OK.
      They have too many strikers and only Aguero is good enough for this team IMO.

    Not sure what to do with this team.

    A. Cazorla -> Sigurdsson
    B. Cazorla -> Mane
    C. Cazorla -> Villa midfielder (maybe Sinclair or proper punt on N'Zogbia)

    Pantilimon / Foster
    Bertrand / Haidara / Bellerín / Terry / Dawson
    Hazard / Boyd / Silva / Eriksen / Cazorla
    Kane / Agüero / Austin

    2 FT, £3.0m in the bank.

    Will Costa be my downfall?? My pal has brought him in for Austin.... I have a slender 15 point lead and have been ahead all season but he's been creeping up on me slowly but surely. No easy way for me to bring Costa into my team but I could get Austin knowing now he has a DGW... and troll him big time!
    Every year we bet £50 on who'll win. He took it narrowly last year and I won the three before.

      PSG have spent a fortune on their team and it is very good.
