    A. Murray (sun, WBA)
    B. Gomis (EVE, lei)

For the first time in 4 seasons of letting FPL rule my life, I see why people play the WC after GW 1-3.

This year with no riots, strikes or bad weather delaying games, and no international competition meaning there is less FA cup congestion, DGWs really have not been such a big deal.

    Hello!
    Please help me 🙂

    Guzan, panti
    clichy, clyne, iva, koscielny, yoshida
    mane, silva, eriksen, henderson, moses
    benteke, aguero, kane
    1FT

    So what to do?

    1. leocarter27
      • 9 Years
      9 years, 2 months ago

take eriksen out for siggy I think with his fixtures. Bring phillips in for moses after gw 33. strikers are fine. Aguero always scores v utd and has good couple of games after. Defence is fine but clichy sometimes has a rotation risk. But he was one of their best players the game v palace.

It's up to you but I would do something like this:

      Yoshida - downgrade
      Clichy - downgrade
      Either Naughton, Yun, Van Aanholt

Mane should be sold. Siggy and Puncheon nice short term solution (gret 3 upcoming fixtures for both) ... I would also consider Moses out 🙂 Try to bring Giroud for Benteke or even Aguero after Arsenal play Chelsea 🙂

Paul Ince reckons his 'CV is better than most' but he doesn't even get offered interviews simply because he is black. Really???

No doubt a black manager will break through in the Premier League sooner or later and be very successful but I bet it will be one who never even mentions his race and gets there through ability alone.

    1. Numb

would you want your club to hire someone who may not be the best for the job? what if they get relegated

        1. Pasqualinho
          • 15 Years
          9 years, 2 months ago

The Rooney Rule places no emphasis on hiring - it just means that everyone gets considered. It can't really hurt to give it a try.

          1. copps
            • 13 Years
            9 years, 2 months ago

Many would end up going through say 5 interviews and not get any of them, and then probably kick up more of a fuss? call X club racist, Y chairman racist. Its a tricky area imo. It's also a bit unfair to give less opportunity to inexperienced coaches who may apply similarly but would not get the interview unless they were black?

          2. copps
            • 13 Years
            9 years, 2 months ago

i think its worth trialing but i also think there are key problems it could also cause. imo it kind of highlights race in the game a lot more rather than trying to reduce it.

like what if a club hires an inexperienced black manager, then results turn poor. does the focus then turn on the race issue? i would not be surprised if some fans then start chanting racist things, it could just get nasty.

    No Chelsea def
    No Soton def
    No Aguero
    No Kane

Has to be the way forward for anyone on WC who is hoping to climb the ranks or catch ML leaders. IMO the only essential player from GW34 onwards is Hazard.

No Chelsea defender in the DGW seems risky? The others I can see, although Kane is such a good price that he enables other plans.

Well you can't make up ground if you don't have the players who score points. Kane is a must IMO. I'd argue the most must player there is given his price and form.

That's definitely a differential. Like most differentials on here, it's probably a negative one.

Between them, Chelsea and Soton have got WBA, Palace, Sunderland, Villa and Leicester twice in the last 4 games. Might be relegation-avoiding heroics from those teams, or the two best defences in the league might rack up a fair few clean sheets.

Without a WC so if Liverpool have a DGW in GW34 I'd have to go -4 to get Sterling/Coutinho and Skrkel is this enough players for DGW

    Ivan**Slurp** Skertel**
    Sterling**Hazard** Sanchez Silva

Worst week I've had all season after dropping Sanchez for Mata and ignoring the DGW. I am still demoralised from it all.

How do I bounce back with 2FT? 3.5 ITB

No need to panic this week. You could bounce back.

Thanks. It was horrible, lost a 35 point ML league and now 10+ points behind. Huge swing and has left me feeling ill 🙁

Any suggestions where to use one transfer?

Haha I did exactly that. Have 10 of your likely 11 starters as well. Thought I was being clever saving a FT to use down the line (and I still have WC as well) but I think I would rather have the 40-odd points.

It's pretty much ruined all my ML (I'm talking £1000+) but noone saw QPR and Villa getting 11 goals between them (and the same 3 players - who everyone seemed to have - being involved in every single goal).

Anyway I'm stumped what to do this week as well. Do you have your WC still?

Sucks hey. Its a massive blow that is for sure.
Unfortunately I don't have my wildcard available.

Not sure what to do with Mata, it was a failed one week punt and now Naughton is injured!

Naughton > Ivan might be a good shout.

With Palace and Swansea safe, it has to be Remy, imo.

I'm 0.1 of doing Vertonghen and Krul ---> Azpilicueta and Schmeichel.

      Absolutely annoying me 🙁

        Why?

Koscielny, Sanchez, Coutinho, Van Aanholt and Austin. They've mostly been scoring well for me.

Giroud because he is cheaper and Arsenals only true striker and at this stage of the season it seems like Sanchez can equally get as many points as Ramsey / Ozil / Cazorla

People that don't have him could be getting him in for a decent-ish fixture and then benching, if they have room on the bench.
Hate the term "casuals". If they're still playing actively, fair play to them. Not everyone is obsessed as we FFS nerds 🙂

        Plus 42 RCA
I only have two GW33 blanks and still have two FTs, not going for Giroud before the blank myself, but I understand those who might be. Their next few transfers are likely to be concerned with GW34 DGWers.
