Please use this article to post your Rate My Team (RMT) queries and any questions regarding team selection and our panel will join the discussion to provide input on as many as possible.

The surgery will open run from 9pm until 11pm.

Here’s some quick house rules to read before you post:

    Money in the bank to fit Agüero in when necessary. Don't want to make too many transfers getting him in, so the extra funds give me more flexibility.

    I we could upgrade Bellerin to Koscielny, leaving 1.5M in the bank, but Bellerin seems like a great option to me. Nevertheless, Koscielny has excellent BAPS potential iirc.

    does everyone think hazard is absolutely essential or will fabregas do? he didn't make much impact in the comm shield earlier. i don't want to lose ivan/caz/hendo/kane though.

    I'm saving some 3-4 milions for changes after the first gameweeks, so I'm trying to set up a team with starters and rotation pairs for the beginning of the season and then step up for Aguero/Sanchez/Silva.

    Dillemas: Deeney or Wilson, Henderson or Milner, Giroud or Benteke ? Captain from this team? Thanks in advance and good luck to all :))

    Slightly experimental team with 5m in the bak to change Pelle to Aguero when needs be

    Midfield - Sterling Hazard Sterling Ritchie Sinclair
    ~~~
    Forwards Lambert-Sakho-Pelle

    Plan to rotate williams and huth. Richards just seems good value.
    The risky part is the rotation of Sakho/Ritchie and Lambert/Sinclair.

    Is this too radical a move or is it a plausible one?
    It seems to work on paper with the fixtures...

    For instance week 1 this team will be

    I certainly know that it is unconventional to leave two strikers on the bench...

    My first RMT as feel team is nearly there..

    Rutland
    Azpi, Cedric, Jenkinson, Huth, Francis
    Hazard, Walcott, Ozil, Milner, Sinclair
    Rooney, Pelle, Sakho

    I am planning on rotating Sakho (WHM) and Sinclair (AVL) but spending 5m rather than 4.5m on my 5th mid means I miss out on the extra 0.5 somewhere else...

    My Aguero plan will likely be GW4 no WC, rather downgrade one of Ozil or Wally (based on form/impact of Sanchez' return) and upgrade Rooney

    Any recommendations?
    Is the Sakho/Sinclair rotation an inefficient strategy?
    Any concerns over Stoke defence is ShawX injury is longer term?

      Rotating sakho & Sinclair how unconventional of you may work out. No one can say it can't...if Sinclair doesn't start you have you choice sakho on the field

        NNot sure about Ramsey... he seems to have had great openings for the last two seasons but he keeps getting injured. Also AV defense seems pretty off. Unless you've got Hutton as your 5th defender that you plan to use almost never I would swap him for a team with a more attacking cheap player.

        Pros is that he will get a lot of clean sheets.
        The cons is that he is pretty expencive and won´t get as many savepoints as many of the cheaper options with weaker defences. It rarely happens that the keepers from the biggest clubs gets the most points.

        I would rather go for a cheaper option and get more savepoints and use the money to strengthen the rest of your team. This is just my personal opinion tho 😉

        Provisional and still subject to change ie, how will Kane do in next pre-season. Plan to get my old favourite Aguero once it becomes clear he's playing and at some point trying juggle in Apzi once my team gains some value / Chelsea defence start getting some clean sheets. Appreciate on surface defence is crap but most seasons, the crap teams start racking up the most clean sheet points.

              I'll probably end up dropping Milner or Benteke for the 1st week because if there's anything I've learnt over the years then its this: you don't have 2 Liverpool players in your team. Say that as a Liverpool fan!

              Straightforward is good the mid-end season but lets be honest, those first games are a nightmare because all your hard work is torn up because players who you'd never normally look at start getting those points which separate you from the others in your leagues.

            I see your point. The problem i feel is that i don't know who will play week in week out for spurs. You could argue the case for Erickson but i feel hes too hot and cold.

            Also, i could tinker and bring in Kane for Giroud, but my honest opinion i think kane had a freak season last year and i don't think that will be replicated this year ( famous last words ).

              Personally i would not use Giroud, as he didn´t start in the community shield and might be a bit too expencive. I would go for someone cheaper like Jay Rodriguez. He was amazing before his injury and has been amazing in preseason. If you use him, you get some more money to strengthen the rest of your team 😉

                I understand your point. I'm a huge fan of Jay Rod, the only issue is in these early GW's I dont think he will play to much. I will deffo keep my eye on it though

          I would wait and see how Depay is going to fair. Invest the 8.5 in either ramsey or mane. Or go with milner or hendo and save 1.5 to strenghthen elsewhere?
